Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Thun

What a wonderful and peaceful experience it was to stay at Emanuel’s greenhouse. I only wish we had booked a longer stay. His offer (and accepted) to pick organic strawberries from inside the greenhouse was much appreciated.

The house was huge and had everything we needed. A nice touch was the rice cooker which is hard to come by. Will definitely visit again if I’m in the area. This is the most value for money house that we rented in Switzerland. Giuseppe was always responsive and this is important especially if guests are already in the house and needed help.

For 6 of us, it is a great place to stay. You will not have an issue at all if you have your own transportation to go around, which is what we did during the 3 nights there. We cooked dinner for all three nights for 6 of us at the house and enjoyed the view. We have already missed this house now as we are in Interlaken for another 4 nights with a different style of Airbnb. After sharing our photos and experience of the house with my sisters, they are interested in booking the same house for their future trip to Europe.

We spent 3 nights here and we had a great time. Location is very calm and quiet, it's perfect to reach the most popular places in the region. The surrounding is very nice, you are close to the nature. In the house we had everything we needed, kitchen is very well equipped, beds are good, we could sleep well. Communication with Simone was perfect. It's good to know that the bathroom is downstairs in the basement, for us it was not a big problem. After all we could get a taste of life in the Swiss countryside.

This place was beautiful! It’s such a peaceful spot with amazing views of the lake and quite accessible to lots to do (assuming you have a car). Everything was very clean and it felt brand new. The amenities were great, there was even a washer/dryer! Everything is automated - lights, AC, blinds. For Europe, having AC in the summer is a must and was really important to us, so we were glad that it worked seamlessly. Riad was also a great host, communicated very well and responded promptly.

We loved our stay at FoundationEGG just outside of Thun! The farmhouse was clean, charming, and had stunning views of the Alps. It was the perfect base for hiking and exploring nearby Swiss towns. Ben and Tabea were wonderful hosts, and the stay offered an authentic and unforgettable Swiss countryside experience!

Christa’s place was excellent. Our family of 6 stayed there as a main location for us to explore the beautiful area. Easy walk to the train station which made it excellent to connect to other train stations. Our kids enjoyed playing in the peaceful creek. We were also treated to some Swiss cows grazing in the field behind. I would highly recommend this place for any family looking to explore Switzerland.

הדירה של אנדריאה ורטו הייתה נעימה מסודרת נקיה ומאובזרת היטב הדירה ביתית והיה בה הכל! הופתענו מהגודל לטובה. יש חלל משותף לחדר שינה והסלון חלל נפרד למטבח ושירותים בסוף המסדרון. הנוף מהמטבח מושלם! נוף לאגם ולהרים! המרפסת מפנקת עם נוף להר ועם ערסל. אנדריאה ורטו היו מקסימים קיבלו אותנו בחיוך וכל מה שהיינו צריכות הביאו לנו באהבה. נהנו מאוד ממליצות בחום!

We had a wonderful stay. It was so close to public transportation and the town. We would stay there again.

Apartment was beautiful, clean and had all needs covered for the stay from kitchen to bathroom. There is an open terrace with chairs and table with a nice view to the mountains. Worth staying :)

We had an amazing stay at this Airbnb! The space was impeccably clean, beautifully decorated, and very comfortable. The host was incredibly responsive and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. The location was perfect—close to local attractions, restaurants, and public transport. Check-in and check-out were smooth and hassle-free. We felt right at home and appreciated all the thoughtful touches throughout the apartment. Highly recommend this place for anyone visiting the area. We’ll definitely be back! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Prije svega, odličan i vrlo susretljiv domaćin. Riječima se ne može opisati sve što ovaj smještaj nudi. Smještaj nudi puno više nego što je na slikama prikazano, te je opremljen apsolutno svime što čovjeku može zatrebati. Najbolji smještaj do sada u kojemu smo odsjeli. Sigurno ćemo se vratiti :)

Reto est super sympathique et parle apparemment de nombreuses langues parfaitement! La cuisine est non seulement très jolie, alliant du mobilier ancien et charmant avec de l’électroménager récent de très bonne qualité (cuisinière induction, hotte d’aspiration du futur, tous les ustensiles nécessaires à disposition, magnifique frigo… le tout d’une propreté impeccable). Difficile ensuite de revenir dans notre appartement citadin modeste 😅 On n’a manqué de rien, il est également possible de manger à l’extérieur. Les containers pour les poubelles sont très proches, aucun problème sans voiture. Pareil pour la salle de bains, confortable et généreusement fournie en serviettes de différentes tailles et produits de base fort appréciés. L’ensemble est extrêmement cosy et confortable, très accueillant et chaleureux. On espère revenir bientôt! Et la région est absolument fantastique, on a eu la chance de faire des randonnées magiques et espérons beaucoup pouvoir revenir chez Reto en hiver!

Overall we had a great experience at Cony’s place! Exactly as described, great amenities and location was quick to get to Interlaken by bus or train (5-10 minutes once you get on). We had some trouble with the toilet as it took a few flushes to get small amounts of toilet paper down but nothing that ruined the experience and it wasn’t a huge bother. Check in and check out was great and host was very responsive and helpful. She even let us keep our luggage after check out since we’d still be in the area for a while so that was very nice! There is a grocery store less than a 5 minute walk away and lots of things to do in Interlaken 10-15 minutes away. The neighborhood itself didn’t have much open from when we were there but again Interlaken was close and had everything we needed. Overall good experience!

Wunderschöne kleine Hütte mitten in der Natur. Sehr sauber, und wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen.

Amazing place to stay with jaw dropping views!! Nick and his team were lovely and quick to respond even late at night 🫶🏽The cabins were very clean and well decorated. One thing that stood out was the blinds and the bug screen! Would definitely recommend it everyone!!

Nous avons passé un séjour inoubliable dans cette petite maison finlandaise en bois, pleine de charme et d’originalité. Le barbecue central donne une ambiance chaleureuse et unique, parfaite pour partager un bon repas. Le lit est très confortable, nous avons dormi comme des bébés ! Fabrice est un hôte accueillant et attentionné. Cerise sur le gâteau : un accès direct à la forêt juste derrière le logement, un vrai moment hors du temps au cœur de la nature. Je recommande vivement cette expérience dépaysante !

Ein unglaublich toller Ort mit einem super Gastgeber! Mein Hund Buddy und ich fühlten uns von Anfang an wohl und es war einfach paradisisch vor Ort. Die Blockhütte hat einen riesen Charm, sehr gemütlich und liebevoll eingerichtet und der kleine Teich hinter der Hütte war peefekt zur Abkühlung! Matthias war mega offen, herzlich und freundlich und extrem unkompliziert! Ein richtig toller Ort für eine Auszeit!
