Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Thornton Heath

It's a welcoming family home and the hosts were warm and made me feel comfortable. The room is spacious, and has large windows with fully adjustable blinds, perfect for controlling the light and maintaining privacy. The kitchen is well-equipped with everything you need to prepare your meals, and the house is located just a few minutes’ walk to the train station. Overall, I had a pleasant two-week stay.

Rubab and her husband are very very friendly. Best host i can say. The place is very nice and well maintained. Best place to live for married couples. highly recommended

Excellent séjour pour ma première semaine à Londres, je n’ai pas été beaucoup présente car j’étais la plupart du temps dehors à découvrir Londres mais Claire a été d’un accueil et d’un soutien chaleureux tout au long de la semaine, avec son grand mais adorable chien Larry ☺️ Merci encore pour cette semaine, j’ai très bien dormi et tout était parfait !

We loved our stay here! Sarah and Simon are very sweet hosts and they had lots of good tips for exploring the area. The room was absolutely lovely and very clean. You have easy access to public transport and can also take beautiful walks through the leafy park. We will be staying here again when we return to London in the future!

The value was absolutely phenomenal, having a private bathroom was amazing and the place was perfectly clean. Riyaz was extremely helpful and kind, he was very responsive with every question i had. I could not recommend this place enough. 100 out of 5 stars!!!!!

Such a calming, warm and friendly space & lady. Only women space is refreshing and so nice. The room had great facilities and such a cosy bed. Slept so well.

Faz’s place was the epitome of value for money. Spacious place, perfect for three (in our case) and four people. Near the overground and the centre of Croydon (a little more that 10 minutes walk). One minor flaw. We were three guests and there were only two towels. Also the toilet was not very clean. Other than that, a very good spot!

Ich hatte mich sehr auf den Aufenthalt bei Daniel gefreut und bin nicht enttäuscht worden. Ich habe noch keinen Gastgeber erlebt, dem so am Herzen liegt, Gästen eine Freude zu machen und sich willkommen fühlen zu lassen. Die Wohnung ist gemütlich, das Bett perfekt, der Garten phantastisch zum Frühstücken, Bus (auf der anderen Straßenseite) und Bahn (in 15 Minuten erreichbar) ermöglichen Ausflüge in die Umgebung, nach London oder an die Küste (Brighton 45 Minuten). Als Gast habe ich vor Abreise wie gewohnt die Bettwäsche abgezogen und die Geschirrspülmaschine gestartet, aber zugegebenermaßen nicht, wie sonst, die ganze Wohnung hinterlassen, wie vorgefunden, weil man 64€ Reinigungsgebühr nicht gern verschenkt 😏 Den Aufenthalt in Daniels Wohnung würde ich Familie, Freunden und allen, die London lieben, aber etwas Abstand von der City zu schätzen wissen (das Beste aus beiden Welten) empfehlen 💯👍

Perfect for what we needed and plenty of room for two couples. Only 25 mins on the train to London Bridge so a good option for tourism as well. Managed to find a car parking space quite adjacent, but the parking is quite tight. Fred was a very accommodating host and very proactive in terms of helping us to settle in. Will definitely use it again next time we need somewhere to stay in Crystal Palace.

Nick, thank you so much for hosting us. We have great time! Apartment is lovely! We enjoyed staying in your backyard area in the evenings and just chill and relax after a long day of walking. It is just 7-10 mins walk to the tube and overground train stations. Lots of places to dine and fresh, tasty coffee spots. Very lovely neighborhood. Thank you again!

The apartment was immaculately clean, stylishly decorated, and spacious - it had everything we needed! Justyna was super responsive and made sure we felt right at home. The location was fantastic - it was an easy to get around from there with many bus routes and I had no problem taking my son to nursery as it was close by. The amenities were also top-notch. Having a really good washing machine was key for me as my kids make a lot of mess. My kids absolutely loved it, and it was a huge relief to have a comfortable and convenient spot for our family. Plus, it was so easy to relax and unwind in the space. And if we needed anything, Justyna was always just a message away - super easy to get a hold of and very accommodating. What really made it special was that my kids were able to unwind and have some much-needed space, especially since we're currently living with relatives and space has been tight. It was the perfect getaway for us, and we're so grateful for the break. I highly recommend.

Sam is an amazing host who is very easy to communicate with, had ensured that everything was at the best possible standard before and during our stay, and most of all, is very kind!! The place was clean and had everything that we needed to make our stay very comfortable, which included all listed amenities. The retro gaming decor added a cool touch to the place as well. Sam’s cat is very loveable and playful (and very cute)! Feeding instructions were clear and quite easy to follow. The photos on the place’s listing were accurate, apart from the kitchen which has recently been renovated; and hence look even better than before! Thank you so very much, Sam! 100% would have another stay here again!

Dacian was very responsive and extremely helpful. Due to issues with my phone, I wasn’t able to see the messages immediately, but when I did, I truly appreciated them. He checked to see if I was okay and comfortable. There is a reason Dacian is a Superhost, the care he put into the place and the thought given to the appliances really impressed me. Really lovely place to stay, compact and cute. Has everything you needed and was very clean. Close to bus stops to get to Purley or Croydon, also walking distance to Wallington with many amenities. I didn't want to leave

Lovely studio, just as described. . Short walk to East Croydon station making it easy to head into London or even off to Brighton for the day. Grocery nearby as well as plenty of food and entertainment options. Stephen was very helpful in leaving detailed information about the area and things to do. Very clean with all the amenities I needed. Very communicative. Not a single problem during my 7 night stay. Would definitely stay again!

Danusha was a fabulous host and the apartment was beautiful! Super comfortable, clean and a great location! We felt very safe and secure and perfect for a visit to London! We will be back. This is an absolute gem of a place and location, with views right across the Darent Valley. I only wish we could have stayed longer! The place was spotless and everything had been perfectly prepared and very well thought through (from the local hand-drawn maps right down to the vast array of toiletries on offer). I can't think of a single thing to change or improve about the place. Diana was a lovely host and provided a lot of information prior to arrival. She had also found some suggestions of activities for us tailored to our interests, which was frankly above and beyond. We were very grateful and it was clear a lot of thought had been put in prior to our arrival. I could carry on for pages but in summary, we have already recommend the place to family and friends and we be pleased to offer our recommendation here too. Thank you, Diana, for such a lovely place to stay and we hope to be back soon!

I’ve enjoyed very much staying at her beautiful little Den. Everything is decorated finely amd with a lot of attention including the little garden! Beautiful parks such as the Rookery gardens and Tooting Commons are right next door to explore and neighbours friendly. Parking in the nearby streets is though not free anymore;-)

Great family home. free parking close to train station and short walk for coffee and pastries in the morning. kids dream spot. toys, books, games galore. my little ones cant travel with all their stuff so the fell in love with this listing setup. beds are very comfortable and kitchen has all you need. TV netflix to unwind in the evening.

My husband and I had a wonderful trip. Ruth was easy to get in touch with and left clear instructions. Loved that there was a train near by. We also enjoyed having breakfast at a nearby cafe. (Cub’s corner)Thank you Ruth!
