Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Thornhurst Township

We stayed at Oak View during the first week of June 2025 and had a truly wonderful experience. The home is beautifully designed and thoughtfully appointed, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The host was attentive and responsive without being intrusive. We spent most days relaxing on the deck, enjoying the peaceful surroundings—and even sneaking in a few naps. It was the perfect escape for a restful weekend. We’ll definitely be back!

My girlfriend and I stayed in Jonathan’s home for our Valentine’s Day weekend. The house was beautiful and the views were amazing. Jonathan checked in on us to see if we had everything we needed and recommend local restaurants and places to visit he even gave us the time we should wake up to enjoy the sunrise which we did. All in all the trip was a 10/10 and we can’t wait to return!

We had an amazing experience this past weekend at the lake house. Michael was very responsive and the house was beautiful. The kids had a blast in the game room even the men got the full throw back experience with the GameCube while it was raining! The lake was perfect and there was plenty of life jackets and water toys for us to enjoy. The community is huge but quiet, a great place to bring the kids for a getaway. We didn’t catch anything fishing but the view alone with the kayaks and canoe was great. It was peaceful, would definitely go again!

We had a wonderful stay at this house. It was clean, spacious, very warm despite the cold, and had a terrific pool table and air hockey table. Our family relaxed and spent good time together.

Danielle was a wonderful host, very fast with responses and made us feel very welcome in her lovely home. The house is very spacious, and beautiful and was very accommodating to our group. The house comes with a paddle boat and kayak and we had lots of fun taking them out to the pond in the backyard. We really loved our stay and would love to come back and stay here again!

Would recommend Patricia’s highly. Very comfortable, beautiful location with mountain views and walking distance to everything in town.

This place was perfect for what we needed! Bed was SUPER comfy this was a quiet location. It was pretty roomy for a single-suite stay. A note - the kitchen does not have many items, so it wouldn’t be a great place to do a lot of cooking. That was fine for us, though!

Sarah's loft was exactly as described. Parking was handy and the space felt safe. We were able to walk to a fantastic Italian restaurant as well as a nice walking path near the river. We definitely recommend this loft, especially for couples.

A charming apartment in a cool building up at the quiet end of Broadway. Race Street shops and restaurants are also an easy walk away. The place has character (fabulous art) and was a clean as could be, with many thoughtful touches. The bed was comfortable, and the shower (though small) had great water pressure and the whirlpool tub is a nice, relaxing feature after a hike or bike. Many good restaurants and shops within walking distance, and the lake is just a few minutes drive away and has a very nice beach. Many things in town are closed on Tuesday and Wednesday, just be aware. Great stay, exactly as advertised. Host had many great suggestions for things to do and places to eat.

This place was very comfortable and felt just like home. So many nice little perks. She had the coffee set up already. Had a few snacks. The beds and linens were all very comfortable. I would definitely stay there again. Always respond very quickly.

This was an absolute dream of a property. They have thought of absolutely everything to make you not have to leave to enjoy your time. There were endless amounts of things for our kids and family to do in the home and on the property’s lake front. This truly felt like a peaceful relaxing vacation which is just what we needed. We would have driven double the distance (already almost 3 hours away from us) because we loved being there so much. We cannot wait to come back now that we’ve found a little peace of heaven here. We had an absolutely amazing stay at this beautiful Airbnb! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the stunning views — truly something out of a postcard. The pool was a highlight, perfectly maintained and ideal for both relaxing afternoons and sunset swims. The property itself was spotless, stylishly decorated, and well-equipped with everything we needed. It felt like a peaceful retreat while still being conveniently located to explore the area. The hosts were friendly, responsive, and made us feel very welcome. If you’re looking for a place to unwind, soak in incredible scenery, and enjoy some quality time by the pool, this is it. We’re already dreaming about our next visit!

The home was absolutely amazing—truly even better than the pictures. The photos don’t do it justice. Everything about our stay was perfect, from the clear directions and easy check-in to the beautiful space itself. The host was very friendly and highly communicative throughout. I honestly wish we could build a place like this in the future. This has been the best Airbnb I’ve booked since I started using the platform back in 2010. It was SUCH A PLEASURE to spend time in this house. Very nice and modern. It is very visible that lots of effort was put into it by the hosts. The jacuzzi is awesome, fire pit makes a great s’mores night, and the back yard is soon to be even better :) The movie room felt like a real club and movie theater. Amazing place, definitely recommend coming here and we will for sure consider returning!

We would return without a second thought. Before we arrived, the host was very quick to respond to our questions. Friendly communication from deposit to check out. 4 couples celebrating milestone birthdays. The house was very clean and easy to access. The first things we noticed were the updates to the house. The dining table was large and comfortable for 8 adults. The living room had a large sectional sofa perfect for gathering. Each bedroom had also been updated. Tastefully decorated with comfortable beds and nice linens. We were impressed and thoroughly enjoyed the game room and movie theater! 6 large recliners and comfy floor seating made us feel like we had a night out, without going out. The backyard had a large fire ring and new chairs, but we did not take advantage of them. We did use the large propane grill and hot tub, both were in excellent condition. The kitchen was well appointed and the large fridge was great as we ate in for all meals.

Our hosts met us when we checked in and gave us a tour and answered all of our questions. The place is beautiful and has everything you would need. Ross and Valerie have thought of everything for guests to have the best stay possible. We celebrated my husband's birthday with 8 other friends, they all thought the place was magnificent. The kitchen and bathrooms are all equipped with everything you would need. We totally enjoyed our time there and will definitely return.

My group of 12 has an amazing weekend here. The house was clean, was easy to find and the host rads is very quick to respond and helpful. The hot tub was great and there were many great hikes within ten minutes from the house. We had a great time!

This place was beautiful! Soooo many amenities, space, and had everything we needed plus more! Everything was so clean and labeled with clear instructions. The Hot tub, movie room, and blackstone grill with the outdoor fire place made for great bonding and relaxation for our group. Every part of the house had great details. The Sonos speaker and led lights created the perfect vibe! Craig was very helpful and accommodating! I have been recommending this place to other friends and family already! Will be posting a full review on TikTok. I loved this Airbnb and can’t wait to come back. Thank you for everything Craig!
