Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Thira

Sophia’s ardent love and enthusiasm for her Venetian ancestor’s wonderful house is contagious—-the mountain setting, the grove, the main house, and the outbuildings are full of interest and charm, and every space is beautifully appointed. We were warm, comfortable, and very happy to be at Kambones1615. Sophia is a cordial, engaging, and generous host, eager to share her knowledge of Naxos with her guests. We look forward to returning for as many springs as we can manage!

My family and I had the most wonderful stay here in Santorini. It is very private and peaceful but just steps from all the shops and restaurants (and famous blue domes) of Oia. It had the wonderful qualities of an air bnb (multiple bedrooms, full kitchen, etc.) but they also provided maid service daily so it was like staying at a resort. Our host helped us book an amazing catamaran sunset cruise with transportation that is sure to be one of my children’s core memories. We felt so welcome. From the location to the pool and the hospitality, this is our favorite place to have stayed to date. Would highly recommend.

Anastasia’s place was a highlight of our trip, and we can’t say enough good about it! It is exactly as pictured, full of charm, and feels like a fairytale. Her mother was on the premises to welcome us with fresh-squeezed orange juice and iced cappuccino. She also made us breakfast our first morning, where we sat amidst the olive and orange trees enjoying delicious food and fresh eggs from their farm. Sitting at the pool and looking around, you can’t believe this is your life! We were invited to pick oranges, lemons, kumquats, and apricots from the trees. Anastasia gave us several restaurant recommendations within the village, which we were able to walk to. She also gave a recommendation for transport (Naxos Royal), which was excellent. Her place is about a 15-minute drive from the airport or the port, so transport was necessary. We found the people to be so warm and hospitable, and would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Нет только микроволновой печи. Хозяин очень отзывчивый, всегда на связи и готов помочь. Мы отлично провели время!

Elena was a fantastic host. Our flight to Santorini landed early and she let us drop our bags off early so we could explore the island. The location was great, within walking distance of the bus stop. She gave us lots of recommendations and was so helpful. The house itself was really nice, we loved the pool too!

Oh my goodness the house was beautiful with plenty of windows and doors that open for the ocean breeze and the peaceful sound of the waves. The place was coz, clean, had great outdoor space with amazing views, and perfectly styled. Katerina and her family were amazing hosts that were very responsive and available. She even baked us a delicious cake and had a nice bottle of wine to enjoy! It was a perfect experience and would definitely recommend to everyone !!

Eirini’s home was beautiful and the perfect place to stay for our Naxos vacation. The house came with everything you needed for your trip and more. We loved it’s location, close to the beach, port, and supermarket. The house was very spacious as well! We would love to stay here again!

Karen was the perfect host, making us feel welcome and at home in her beautiful house. She was very helpful before we even got there, letting us know which ferry to take etc. The house is in a lovely spot, only a few minutes walk from the port, charming town, and a beautiful beach. She recommended restaurants and things to do and shared stories about the island's history. The apartment is beautifully decorated with everything you need. The outdoor living space is very private with amazing views, and comfortable spots to relax. Our stay with Karen on Antiparos was the highlight of our trip to Greece.

This place was AMAZING! The house itself was quirky and unique. The location was perfect- very peaceful but close to the town centre and all the yummy restaurants etc. The roof terrace was the PERFECT sunset spot. I would recommend staying here to anyone. Hosts were helpful and made sure we had everything we needed LOVED IT!!!!!!

Rena is an outstanding host! She arranged transportation to and from the ferry port for our group. She is incredibly responsive and kindly gave recommendations for beaches and restaurants. She checked in on us via text during our stay. She also clearly cares for her home and for her neighborhood. We would stay at her place again, absolutely. Rena’s place was perfect for our group of seven. There is a large kitchen if you care to cook, and the bedrooms are large and comfortable. There was always enough hot water for showers. The location is great—5 minutes walk to the center of Fira but set on a quiet street without much foot traffic.

Loved every second of staying here. Our first stop on Paros for only one night but wished it had of been longer. Everything was a breeze in terms of communication and check-in and the Villa was absolutely beautiful. Thank you for having us Maria!

We were very happy with our stay. You have a breathtaking view from the terrace and can have a bit of shade there almost all day and, depending on the wind direction, sit sheltered from the wind. In a few minutes you can reach the beautiful old town and the promenade via a lovely path along the cliffs. The bed has been slightly modified compared to the pictures, so that even taller people should have no difficulty lying on it, as they can simply let their feet protrude a little at the end of the bed. The communication worked very well, we always received a helpful answer within a few minutes and were very satisfied with the super fast service of the three sisters. Overall, we were very happy with our stay and would be happy to recommend the accommodation and the island to others.

great location in Fira, the suite is close to market if you choose to eat lite.. or there are plenty of restaurants to choose from.. I would suggest some darker shades. the outside lights shine into the suite in the evenings and night.. the host was amazing and very mindful of unique situations.. we will definitely stay again

This was a real treat. For us, this was a holiday to relax and unwind with some great views and some sea to dive into in the mornings. This place was absolutely spotless and designed to a super high standard. The hosts were absolutely superb; with daily cleaning, and all of the useful basics on arrival such as tea, coffee, some local honey, fresh eggs, milk, bread and some booze. Fresh towels were provided regularly and Domenikos gave us a full run down of everything to do in Tinos which was really handy. The views were spectacular from this place and the beach was about a 5-7 minute walk. We went in October, so it's towards the end of the season - if you're looking for a quiet holiday with temperatures within the 20-25ºC region, this is the best time to go. Beach bars are often closed at this time but we were the only ones on the beach. If you have issues with mobility and want to get around the island, hiring a car is a very good idea - the apartment is all on one level.

Absolutely wonderful! The hosts were extremely kind and went well out of their way to accommodate my unexpected needs during my stay. Also they arranged transportation to and from the port and helped me get my bags up the stairs. Just really kind and helpful people. As for the apartment itself, it is well-located, very clean and cozy, and that terrace! It has a magnificent view and is absolutely private. It is the most peaceful place where your can truly relax. Plus it is a great value! I would 100% recommend this place and will recommend it to my friends.

Besides the breathtaking views, exceptional outdoor space and stocked kitchen, we very much enjoyed our host! George anticipated our every need, was responsive to our every request and proactively checked in with us to ensure our comfort. More than that, George is a wonderful person - thoughtful, authentic, kind, with a generous heart that made us feel like old friends. We are so grateful to have met him!

I have traveled to many Airbnbs and this was the most incredible location, cleanliness, and service. Kostas made us feel at home immediately. He sent us a private transport and when his wife met us later, she even sent a baby seat when she saw we had a 1yo in the group. The view itself is stunning and the property is spotless with every amenity you need. The location is easily accessible and close to all Paros sites. I wish I didn’t have to leave! Truly the best vacation.

Maravillosos días en Villa Giorgiana ! La casa de Margarita es un remanso de paz y tranquilidad. Todo estaba limpísimo y la zona de Aliki es una preciosidad . Ojalá poder volver pronto !

This was truly the best place we have ever had the pleasure to stay. We were greeted warmly by Maria’s father who let us in and showed us around. He provided a map and showed us some spots on the island, as well as dinner recommendations. There were little goodies provided, including homemade marmalade. Super clean place and I loved the architecture and decor. We met Maria a few days later when she came to check in on us, she is super sweet! Daily housekeeping was a nice surprise. We had sweet cats visit us daily, which we loved! The location is close to the airport, and just a couple of miles to downtown Naxos. My husband was able to jog into town in the morning! Since there was nobody checking in on the day we were leaving, Maria was so kind to allow us a late check-out. We were able to leave our bags and explore Chora once more before flying out to Athens. She even left us a goodbye souvenir. Don’t hesitate to book this house! It was perfection. Thank you!!

We visited Mykonos May 31 - June 3 so it was a really short trip (me, husband and 2 teenage kids). This apartment made us wish we had booked for longer. It was extremely clean (and the cleaners came to clean every single day - at no extra charge by the way). The weather still had a bit of chill in the air so we’d asked for the pool to be heated before our arrival. The pool was simply amazing! We swam in it each day (and night). What really stood out to me about staying at this property were: Georges’s responsiveness (he created a chat group for the trip so his responses were nearly instant; the transportation he arranged for us whenever we needed it with executive Mercedes buses (at a rate cheaper than uber); the many recommendations for beaches, taverns etc.), the cleanliness of the apartment (it was truly spotless!) , the multiple relaxation spots (2 lounge chairs outside our room upstairs); a hammock by the pool; shaded outdoor dining area; multiple loungers around the pool.

Incredible stay! This place was 10/10 in terms of absolutely everything. Felt like I was staying at a 5 star hotel with cleaning service everyday. Emmanouil was kind enough to leave us fresh fruits and a baked pie too. The views were stunning. Did not even want to leave the accommodation. Very private property meaning I could swim freely in the pool. I would say you need a car to stay here, being in the centre of Paros-everywhere was 15 minutes drive away or less. Thank you for being an amazing host and cannot wait to visit again!

An exceptional villa. Wonderful location with short walk to the beach although it’s hard to leave the pool and terrace. Very well protected from winds if they come. The house is fitted out to a very high specification. Restaurants and shopping a short drive away. All in all a great experience

Such an amazing house. It was peaceful with plenty of room. Easy walk to the beach or beautiful view from the pool with plenty of gathering areas. Dana was our concierge who was fantastic. She had the best recommendations. My favorite was chef Giannis who taught us to cook some traditional Greek food at the house. Wish we could have stayed longer. This has been our favorite stay in Greece.
