Now, soups are soaring on Langbaan’s temporary a la carte take-out menu. Honestly, I’ve never tasted anything like this one. The briny seaweed broth tastes like it was simmered in the ocean, then splashed with sideways heat. Floating on top: fat clouds of chewy, flavor-dense seafood dumplings, shreds of king crab, and a pair of prawns. At $21, it’s not a cheap thrill.
