getting closer to nature around the Lea river walk. You can get to Hackney wick in 20 min walk or 10 min bike. Lovely and romantic.

Great walk in this nature reserve, part of the Lee Valley Regional Park, the original six Middlesex Filter Beds were created in 1852 in order to purify water.

A quiet spot with some historic waterworks - access to the canal. A great place to cycle or jog.

I like to walk here along the canal from Millfields Park - it's a nature reserve and from here you can also explore Hackney and Walthamstow marshes.

Nature reserve, perfect for peace, quiet, family walk and cycling. In the summer heat, brave ones even bath in the river.
