Take a left on F Street, and then 2 blocks up 4th to arrive at the truly charming Stanton Park. You'll find a lovely playground for kids, dog walkers, outdoor yoga, and plenty of shade during the summer.

There are about 22 parks in the Hill hood, and this is the closest. Includes a playground for little ones and green space for all. Great spot for picnics. From the corners you really get a sense of L'Enfant's layout for D.C. Great cannon angles to hold back marauders. Plus, a statue of Nathaniel Greene for Revolutionary War buffs.
