The amphitheater at Siena's Fortezza Medicea hosts open-air cinema in summer. It's wonderfully romantic and the films are often great classics. Just take warm clothes - even in mid-summer it's chilly up there.
The Medici Fortress is perfect for relaxing, walking, jogging and enjoying a nice view of the city.
Built by order of Cosimo de' Medici in 1563, this fortified brick castle was decommissioned as a military barracks in the late-18th century and converted into a public park.
