Great stop off on the way to the Tor, Chalice well and White Spring- a potted history of rural life in Somerset through the ages, with great cream teas to boot!

Really interesting museum that shows life in Somerset. Good cafe too and parking (pay & display). You can walk from here to visit The Tor!

Situated just below Glastonbury Tor the Museum is a unique heritage attraction on the site of the former Abbey Farm. Here you can explore rural life from the 1800s onwards and discover more about the county’s heritage. The farmhouse and former farm buildings are home to a series of galleries. There is also a farmyard and orchard to explore. The magnificent 14th-century Abbey Barn is one of the West Country’s finest buildings and the centrepiece of the site. Car parking is available on site and there is a cafe if you are weary after walking round.
