Why locals recommend it

In Chippendale, this artist-run initiative hosts carefully curated exhibitions in a converted warehouse space. Wood floors and lots of panelled windows highlight compelling contemporary work from Australian artists. The guys who run this space are serious about fostering a local art community, and it shows. Chippendale is a cool suburb, and although you would never call White Rabbit Gallery hidden, it’s worth visiting while you’re in the area. It has one of the world’s largest and most significant collections of contemporary Chinese art.
