Great way to get across the city, (stop at St. Georges Wharf Vauxhall) these rapid catamarans run from Putney to East London (O2), more expensive than the tube but you actually get to see all the sights, think of it as an economical river tour! Cheaper if you have an oyster card...Also has a bar on board for drinks and snacks.

20-30 minutes boat ride on River Thames to Westminster. Best view of Tower Bridge and Tower of London.

Wonderful boat trips along the Thames river. East towards Greenwich (Cutty Sark, Maritime Museum, Observatory park, 0º latitude meridian line) or west towards, Kew Gardens and Hampton Court Palace (Tudor palace and grounds)

The best and cheapest way to see London by boat. Catch the boat at Canary Riverside and head over to Greenwich or the Thames barrier. Conversely travel towards central London on a hop on hop off ticket which will take you to London, Tower Bridge, London Eye

The best way to see the Thames is by the riverboats. Fast and frequent with stops at all the main sights.
