Tips from locals
Amazing opportunity to see: Salmon, Sturgeon up close and personal... also the Army Corps of Engineers has a great museum and tour of the internal workings of the Bonneville Dam. Great for all ages.
Lovely park, gift shop, and of course lots of fish! Many breeding and holding tanks. Star of the show is Herman the Sturgeon, quite possibly the largest prehistoric fish you'll ever see.
Beautiful gardens and lots ponds with large trout and other fish species. A must see is 'Herman the sturgeon' from the underwater viewing area. That's one BIG fish! Gift shops and snacks along with tours of the Bonneville Dam.
