Brixton is a bustling place bursting with energy. You could spend lots of time here. Maybe start with a walk or a run around Brockwell park. Then visit Herne Hill for a coffee or the Sunday market, on the way to exploring Brixton. There are lots of nice restaurants and around the village. Okan is a favourite. Pop Brixton just over the road is a box park full of good food options. There are also gig venues - the O2 academy or electric Brixton. A short walk away, heading back towards the flat, you can find great vibes at Hootenanny or the Effra social.

Brixton is a lively, multicultural area with a down-to-earth vibe. Brixton Market offers street food and vintage finds, plus clothes and produce that reflect the area’s Caribbean roots. Casual eateries serving global fare line pedestrian-friendly Brixton Village. Late-night revellers hit celebrated bars and live-music venues such as the O2 Academy Brixton for rock gigs, and Hootananny for cutting-edge sounds.

Excellent for a night out, lots of amazing food places, and high street shopping. You can also visit the Black Cultural Archives on Windrush Square, the Ritzy Cinema, and explore Brixton Village Market. All the buses from outside Sainsburys go down into Brixton (5 minutes) or its about a 25 minute walk.
