Sumaridge Wine Estate, proudly owned by the Bellingham Turner family, lies gracefully between two imposing mountain ranges in the Western Cape’s Upper Hemel-en-Aarde Valley - aptly named “Heaven and Earth” - with commanding views stretching to Walker Bay on the Atlantic Ocean. Beautiful win with wonderful views, I can say more. Must be added to your destination if you are travelling into the Hemel & Aarde Valley for wine tastings.

Probably the least know wine farm in the area, but probably my favourite. Wine tasting and restaurant are in an old restored church and it sits on a lake with views stretching through the valley right to the ocean. They also offer picnic baskets so you can sit on the lawn under the treas. Dog friendly

Sumaridge is situated on the Hemel-and-Aarde wine route and has one of the most beautiful settings of the winefarms in the valley. Enjoy a beautiful bread, meat and cheese platter while sipping on their beautiful Chardonnay.
