Located in East Glastonbury, Eastbury Pond is a large public recreational facility which draws many visitors all year round. In summer you can spend long sunny days soaking up the sun on the beach area and swimming in the pond. You can bring a picnic to enjoy in one of the picnic areas and relax while the children paddle in the shallow waters of the gently sloping beach area. Other activities include hiking/walking the woodland trails, fishing and enjoying the attractive natural surroundings. In winter the pond freezes over and ice skating is a popular activity. An accessible fishing pier makes it easy for everyone to enjoy fishing on the pond.
