A 4 mile hike by the river, then a great swimming hole to cool off in. Start at the bottom of Sycamore Canyon.

In the summer this is one of our favorite hikes because it is cooler in the canyon with lots of swimming holes.

Highly recommend this! It is the second largest canyon in AZ, about 25 miles from the cabin. Beautiful views, deep canyons, streams and waterfalls at the vista point (when water is running). At Parks exit, go across I-40 and follow Garland Prairie Rd towards White Horse Lake. Turn onto FS 109; the trailhead is just before reaching White Horse Lake.
