Beautiful trails and backcountry await you here. You can see great views of the back of Heavenly Mountain on the east side and large rocky mountains such as Trimmer Peak, Freel Peak, and Jobs Sister North and West. A good day hike from here is to Star Lake, which also intersects with the Tahoe Rim Trail.
