Vacation rentals with a washer and dryer in The Catlins

One of my family’s favorite stays and extremely comfortable. Bjorn greeted us when we arrived and gave us a quick tour, including how to use the heated floors in the bathrooms! He is friendly and my family enjoyed chatting with him. The location is stunning, across the street from the bay and a walking/biking path. Everything in the unit is expertly furnished. The couches are very comfy and the kitchen is well equipped. The bathroom was spacious and had enough counter space for everyone’s toiletries. This was also the only place we stayed that had a dryer. There is another Airbnb upstairs who we saw park shortly after us but we didn’t hear anything. Another unit is next door on the first floor (well separated by a divider on the patio) but we didn’t see or hear anything during our stay. Overall great place and we were sad to leave after 1 night. The peninsula drive there is beautiful too.

Such a lovely spot, felt very homely and was described exactly as it was. Host was flexible with checking in/out which was great. About 15 mins drive from Dunedin centre which was perfect for us. Would go back any time!

A very welcoming apartment. Stylish throughout. Fully equipped kitchen. Comfortable furniture in the living room and nice tall windows in most of the rooms. It's also nice to have both a washing machine and dryer. This is an apartment to make sure to come back to on the next visit to Dunedin.

Dave's place is ideally located for exploring many of the key tourist places without driving or worrying about expensive parking. The unit has everything you need for a short stay. Highly recommend.

Great location, walking distance to the hospital. Nice modern apartment. Hosts very accomodating, we travelled with an infant, a late check out was allowed. Overall great stay, will definitely book again.

非常有特色的房源！地理位置很好，离市中心超近，房间内有非常非常多贴心的布置，各种家具都一应俱全，还提供了美味的茶店和小零食，感觉像回到家了一样。唯一感到不足的地方是硕大的房源似乎只有一个暖气片，我们试图将它调到最大了，但供暖效果不明显。而且通风管道的声音比较响，不过并不影响我们休息。

Hannah and Nick’s place was super comfortable and warm. Nice modern bathroom and the afternoon sun warmed the place up beautifully as there is loads of sunlight coming in, nice on chilly days. Handy location is close to all amenities that we needed. Use of laundry facilities was very welcome. The supply of cereals, bread, milk, yogurt and fresh fruit was a nice and appreciated surprise. Hannah and Nick have gone the extra mile to satisfy their hosts.

Growing up in Dunedin, I know the area really well, so I searched for accommodation that was in a safe, pretty area, while being a short drive to places we wanted to go and family we wanted to see. Initially I looked at the Roslyn area, but Jon's place was really the same distance to town, the Botanical Gardens, and my family, and cost less. It was also a really nice-looking place with great reviews and right next to the cycleway, so that we could just cycle out and start our trip around the harbor by bike (ibike delivered the bikes). One thing I have to say is, the photos don't look exactly the same as the reality - Jon's place is way bigger than the photos appear. We had lots of space for our family of 5. If you have a car, this is absolutely a great choice. Just make sure you pick up groceries when you are out and about - the little store nearby carries a few things, but we ended up going to Port Chalmers to get groceries. Jon was a responsive and thoughtful host.

We were staying in Invercargill for the Bluff Oyster festival. The location made it super easy to get the bus there. Walkable to Queens Park and the local pub. Great house

We had a lovely stay. The wind was scary on the first night but no damage when we woke. The use of the car was fantastic. Such a peaceful area. l didn't see a Kiwi after many trips outside. So we will have to return. Thank you.

From the moment we walked in to this lovely home we really felt at home. Virginia turned the heating on for us prior so the house was lovely and warm. The breakfast food provided was a lovely bonus and the location to Queens Park and the CBD was fantastic. Highly recommended!

We loved staying at Kate’s place in Papatowai. It was the perfect location to explore the Catlins sitting in between Curio Bay (we swam with the dolphins and watched the penguins) and Kaka Point. There are also great walks down to beach from the house. The house itself has beautiful views of the beach and cliffs. The house was spotless and brand new. The kitchen had everything we needed. We thought the house was great value for money. Kate was a pleasure to deal with. Great communication and she made lots of recommendations. We loved the Catlans. We have traveled extensively in NZ and this is a hidden gem with literally no crowds. We had some of the most beautiful beaches and walks to ourselves. Def would recommend.

We had a fantastic time at this property. Despite the blistering cold weather outside, the house stayed beautifully warm and cosy throughout. Everything was clean and tidy, and the beds were incredibly comfortable with high-quality linen and electric blankets! There was plenty of space—ideal for two couples or a family—and having two bathrooms was a real bonus. The dining area was lovely, perfect for shared meals. We also really appreciated the convenience of a washing machine and dryer, with washing powder thoughtfully provided. The addition of a smart TV was great for relaxing in the evenings. You can sign in to your Netflix, Disney and YouTube accounts. Overall, this house was excellent. I’d highly recommend it and would love to stay again!

Amazing accommodation, such beautiful surroundings. The house had everything we needed, it was very warm and comfortable. Would love to stay again. So much to do in the Catlins area and the little town of Owaka was a short drive with everything you could need. Highly recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️

The apartment was close to the Centre. It was a short bus ride. Everything was pretty much walkable to the major attractions.
