Anna’s home is a beautiful, well-kept, and well proportioned house with an absolutely stunning view. We’ve stayed in lots of ‘tiny homes’ but Anna’s truly feels like a proper house, with a separate living room, bedroom, bathroom, and generous outdoor seating area. The home was pristine, and well stocked with everything we’d need. We particularly appreciated the binoculars for birdwatching on lake manapouri. Bed was large and comfy, we got great sleep with zero noise. Shower was hot with good power. We took a day trip to Doubtful Sound (absolutely spectacular; you must do), and we were able to walk from Anna’s place to the harbour, making the trip effortless. You can also take a short walk to lake manapouri and enjoy a swim. Anna was a wonderful host, and was very kind and considerate in her messaging. We loved staying in Anna’s place and would love to stay there again. 11 out of 10!

We loved our stay at John’s. We arrived in the dark so did not get to see how beautiful it was outside till the next morning. The house was extremely cozy, and despite a raging storm outside we felt warm and comfortable inside. The power went out due to the storm and John kindly offered his own kitchen for use, which although we didn’t take up the offer, was greatly appreciated. The tubs were a great spot for having a morning coffee and watching the birds. The number of Tui’s was incredible. I would absolutely recommend anyone to stay.

Our stay well & truly exceeded our expectations! The views are stunning and the home has been thoughtfully designed and furnished. The beds are comfortable, the gas fire was on for us on arrival, the bathroom spotless and well thought out. Would highly recommend - we will be back for sure.

We loved staying at Kate’s place in Papatowai. It was the perfect location to explore the Catlins sitting in between Curio Bay (we swam with the dolphins and watched the penguins) and Kaka Point. There are also great walks down to beach from the house. The house itself has beautiful views of the beach and cliffs. The house was spotless and brand new. The kitchen had everything we needed. We thought the house was great value for money. Kate was a pleasure to deal with. Great communication and she made lots of recommendations. We loved the Catlans. We have traveled extensively in NZ and this is a hidden gem with literally no crowds. We had some of the most beautiful beaches and walks to ourselves. Def would recommend.

A cute old cottage very well done up in a lovely location. Caroline was very easy to work with. It was a shame we only had 1 night.

We arrived on a cold and wet Gore day to a warm and cosy house. The fire was going, lots of wood stacked and a comfortable house. Later we were welcomed by Lorraine. The lounge furniture was very comfortable, the bedrooms cozy and kitchen well equipped. We will be back

Such a lovely spot, felt very homely and was described exactly as it was. Host was flexible with checking in/out which was great. About 15 mins drive from Dunedin centre which was perfect for us. Would go back any time!

Mary's Airbnb was well worth it. Comfortable and everything you need for short stay. The house also heats well and keeps you cozy in the winter weather. The location is fantastic, a short walk away from most attractions, although I wouldn't recommend it in the winter rain! I had a query pop up and asked Mary who was very responsive and made it easy for me to solve.

Jane's Airbnb is great! Looks exactly like the pictures. Very clean and warm. The bed is so comfortable. There are utensils and cooking equipment if you want to make food. A spacious and aesthetic apartment for a nice getaway.

This place is in the center of the city Convenient to reach key visiting spots as well as shopping in Dunedin. The host was exceptionally good in handing over the keys personally helping pull the luggages inside. A cozy studio for a short stay with all you need.

We were very pleasantly surprised by Kate's place. A perfectly located spot just 10min drive from the city. A beautiful open outlook of Dunedin, modern and immaculate. Everything was provided to make it a cosy and comfortable stay. Kate was lovely and very easy to communicate with. Would definitely stay again.

Highly recommendable. Very clean and cosy. Comfy mattress, mattress heating (!), small breakfast including tea/coffee/milk provided.

The apartment was close to the Centre. It was a short bus ride. Everything was pretty much walkable to the major attractions.

We were after somewhere to stay that had easy access to the Otago peninsula and albatross centre. This place was ideal for these. Apartment was great. Good kitchen and bedrooms. Just what we needed. Samans mother was there to let us in and show us around.

Jenny was a wonderful, kind and responsive host. The apartment was beautiful and I couldn’t have asked for more.
