David does everything.... Tourguide, pick-up service, anything you need. He made our short stay there very memorable. He is easy to communicate with, speaks good English and provides for everything. You should also try the home cooked dinner. If we ever go back to Loshoto we will definitely stay there again.

Wij vonden het top! Elke middag lekker een stuk wandelen langs het strand om te gaan lunchen. Maar eigenlijk is er maar 1 echt goede lunch mogelijkheid en dat is bij Emayani beach lodge. Bij Mike hebben we het niet geprobeerd, omdat de dagen op waren. Het is elke avond om half 7/7 donker, dus in de avond thuis genieten van het eten van de kok is top! De prawns vonden we zo goed!! Chicken kunnen ze ook regelen. Wij waren er 4 nachten en 3 volle dagen en vonden dit een prima tijdsbestek. Niet langer, maar ook niet korter. Dankjewel!!!

What can I say!! Amazing place to be, superhost... Stanley was there whenever we need him, very kind and helpful guy, madame chef is great, we enjoyed to the fullest, planning to visit again.

Es hat uns so gut gefallen, dass wir einen Tag verlängert haben. Sabine und George, sowie das gesamte Personal waren außerordentlich freundlich und hilfsbereit. Auch für unsere weitere Reiseplanung standen sie mit Rat und Tat zur Seite. Schönes großes Zimmer mit genügend Ablagemöglichkeiten. Wir genossen die schöne Veranda mit einem wunderschönen Blick über das Tal. Das inbegriffe Früstück war abwechslungsreich und lecker. Es gab tagsüber steht's Kaffee und Tee zur freien Verfügung. Würden gerne wiederkommen und können Kaanani Guesthouse aus vollem Herzen empfehlen.

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und hatten das Glück die ersten Tage alleine zu sein, wodurch wir die Stille am Abend sehr genossen haben. Shamza, Jackson und der Nachtwart sind wunderbare Menschen. Wir haben jeden Abend lecker gegessen und konnten mit all unseren Anliegen zu ihnen. Die Zimmer waren einfach und voll ausreichend. Betten sind gemütlich und das angenehme Klima am Abend bescherte uns erholsame Nächte.. Reisende sollten sich darauf einstellen, dass die Regierung den Strom häufiger für ein paar Stunden abstellt. Es wird also gemütlich am Abend und wenn die Unterkunft voll belegt ist, dann hört ihr die Zimmernachbarn schnattern und auch gerne mal schnarchen ;) Resümee: toller magischer Ort um mal durchzuatmen und mit dem Flow zu gehen. I had a really great stay at Ushongo. The destination is so dreamy and romantic; I felt a bit sad I only had one night there. I was traveling from Arusha, and when I couldn’t get to Ushongo on time, Seif organized my pickup and accommodation in Tanga town using what I would have incurred to stay at the villas that night. Everything was so well coordinated and organized. They really treat you like family. Seif is very quick to respond. When I needed to get to Zanzibar for a flight back to Arusha, Seif didn’t rest until we had it figured out. I also really appreciated that the food was fresh and very well made. I got lucky to taste crab for the first time thanks to Seif. The staff really make you feel at home. Overall a really great experience. I highly recommend it and I can’t wait to be back.
