We had a wonderful stay at this place, which is perfectly suited for families and friends. Pros: The location in Yercaud is serene and beautiful. The accommodations are comfortable and well-maintained. The staff is friendly and helpful. Cons: Food quality in yercadu not good. Cooking is not allowed on the property, except for boiling milk using an induction stove. If you're planning to cook your own meals, be aware that the host will not permit it as per their policy. The host can provide contacts for home food service, which we didn't try. Instead, we bought food from outside, which was unfortunately not good at all. Overall, our stay was very pleasant, but we suggest the hotel consider allowing cooking on a need-based. Other than the cooking restrictions, everything else was satisfactory.

I booked this for a newly wedded couple for a short stay of 2nights . It’s their feedback . They loved the place, the design , architecture, atmosphere, ambiance and vibes . The bath tub was the highlight . Place is secure and offers great privacy . Serene and beautiful surroundings. Homely feeling with excellent assistance from private the staff as well as both Prabhu and Mukesh. Highly recommended. And hope to revisit for a longer stay . One feedback would be more accessible parking.

Just got back from the most peaceful getaway! .The place was tucked away in a stunning backwater setting — calm, quiet, and absolutely beautiful. The view alone is worth the stay! The cottage was super cozy and well-kept, giving off perfect chill vibes. If you’re looking to unplug and recharge, this is definitely the spot. Would totally recommend it to friends and family — a hidden gem for sure!

The place is just as shown in the photos. The property is close to all major locations. The host is very accommodating and helpful.

An amazing place. Very peaceful. Very well done. The food was amazing. We went with a dog and there was a large fenced area for him to run around in. We're sure to come back here sometime.

We had a wonderful stay at Ooty Homestay — a charming spot that feels just like home in the lap of nature. The location is perfect — close enough to town for convenient sightseeing, yet far enough to enjoy peace and quiet. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with all the essentials, and the beds were especially cozy after a day of exploring Ooty’s beautiful hills. The view from the balcony in the morning, with clouds slowly lifting over the valley, was truly magical.

This is a beautiful private home with such a nice view! The villa is inside a gated community so even though there's no parking inside we can park our vehicle right outside ! The home is very well maintained and it's a kid friendly place with lots of story books and games! Every small thing inside is so cute and matching with the decor! Mr. vinod, the caretaker makes great food and is a fun person who is always there to help us out! Overall this was an amazing stay and we would definitely recommend anyone who needs to peacefully spend a night or two away from the city buzz!!!

This is absolute gem. We came for one day, but enjoyed a lot. To start with - Check in was smoothly, care taker called us in advance and kept things ready. He is super helpful- also helped us with BBQ and Bonfire. There is meal partner who can prepare and deliever meal from their wide menu option to cottage. Though we didn't like the taste for dinner or snacks, however breakfast was good. would suggest to check other options outside too. swiggy and Zomato are also available here. overall the place is really amazing and you can easily enjoy here with family and friends. will defo consider this on our next visit.

A very private and peaceful stay close to all the major tourist spots. The vibe of the place was really good, a hut with a modern twist. The host was also really helpful and kind. A good place for a group of friends to spend quality time.

We stayed at Kalanja Greena with my family, and it was a wonderful experience. The property is about 15 km from Ooty town, offering a peaceful escape from the busy city. The hosting was excellent, and the property itself was beautiful and well-maintained. While the kitchen is located downstairs and not attached to the rooms, if it were in the rooms, it would have made the stay even more perfect. Overall, it’s a great place to stay if you’re looking for a quiet retreat outside the main city.

Sajo was helpful from day 1. Though there was a small challenge that we encountered during our stay, Sajo ensured that we were least affected by it and promptly took action to address and rectify the issue at hand. He was available on call throughout whenever needed. Would highly recommend to any traveller and you definitely should stay here if you are in the town to watch the famous Nehru trophy boat race, as the racing venue is just 10 min comfortable walk away

Even though the listing says entire cottage, this actually was an bedroom with attached bath from the main property (where the host is staying) that has a door attached between the two (was locked though). That was slightly disappointing. The balcony/sit-out has the sofa and a small dining table which is where the entrance is. Regardless, enjoyed the stay and the food prepared by the staff was good.

Had a wonderful stay with family. Great location and very near to lake and enjoyed walking around the lake. Caretaker was really helpful and prepared delicious homely food. It has good car parking space and scenic lawn. Would like to stay here again.

Quiet and Peaceful. Away from Munnar. Best place to be if you are looking for a peaceful home away from home. Boney was always there to help. Amazing.

I had a great time at Franklin's house, it's close to pagoda view point, almost 100m from the location, so you can enjoy the view during sunrise or sunset with your own cup of tea and as it's a view point, you can enjoy the scenic beauty from the terrac/balcony which is attached to 1st floor bedroom, where you can sit and relax in the night/morning. you can play carom, chess and zenga to have fun time with your friends, thanks to Franklin. Also if you want to prepare tea or coffee etc, you will get every utensils here and you can keep milk and leftover food in the fridge too all other sightseeing are nearby too, peeku park, sky park, Anna park, boat house etc. if you can cook yourself, then definitely it's a very good destination , because nearby only 1 restaurant is there, where pizza, burger, sandwich, biriani and kfc fried items you can get. No other cuisine restaurant is available.

This is definitely a great location, situated at the hair pin bend #9 with many places to explore nearby. Probably this is closest to Bangalore. Great hospitality provided by Muthu and Karthik they made us feel like home with great food and service. I highly recommend this property for it’s close proximity to the scenic beauty, & do take a walk around early morning to explore nature and it’s beauty.

My friends and I had a wonderful weekend at Vivek’s gorgeous house, away from the kodai city and tucked nicely into a peaceful and beautiful valley. The property is also very well maintained and has a beautiful garden where you could just sit for hours. We felt right at home and had everything we needed at the house. The food was excellent, especially the barbeque. I’ll definitely visit again, hopefully for longer than a weekend. Recommending this highly to anyone considering their next kodai vacation!

Vishnu ji hosted me and my family with absolute generosity and respect. His place matches the description completely but what does not get captured is how he and his family make special attempts to make you feel at home. They are kind, considerate and welcoming. The village has a certain rustic charm to it with super friendly villagers who were up for a quick chat on most days. We had been on the move for close to a month in Kerala, and this was the first place that lived up to the kind of experience one expects from a homestay. If you are looking for medium to long stay, you won't be disappointed. The place has an easy, laid back vibe and in terms of hospitality, you are in good hands.

We rented Camellia White Gables Cottage for one night while on a quick getaway to Munnar with my husband, his parents, and our driver. There are truly not adequate words to describe how wonderful this Airbnb is, how beautiful the area is, and how friendly & great Mr. Maria was to us. The view from the front porch was breathtaking - you are literally looking at a gorgeous tea plantation & are so close to Munnar. Bison Valley Road (the road you can take into Munnar that the Airbnb is on) is also stunning and well maintained. I’m American & my husband hasn’t lived in India in a long time, so we hired a driver to drive us. But he commented on how well maintained the area is & how easy it was to navigate in and out of the Airbnb and town. Mr Maria made our stay even better - we opted for breakfast & had the best chai on our entire trip. He was kind, polite, & knew what we needed before we did. Book this place. You won’t be disappointed. We will be back!
