This house was designed mainly for foreigners.

The owner lives outside the prefecture and uses it as a vacation home. We cherish the extraordinary space by decorating with paintings and furnishings that give you a taste of Japanese culture. I will welcome you as a valued guest who can come to my private home, so face-to-face check-in and common sense conversation and interaction are required. Wifi is available. A parking lot is also provided. Transportation is not convenient in the mountainous area, so please go out by car if possible.

"kappa back packers" was created in 2018 by a young man with travel guide experience. The Hostel was renovated from traditional Japanese house, and location is convenient. It is just take 8 minutes walk from Tokawa Station (JR Yodo line) . The hostel is located beside railway. Also, there are Kotatsu (The kotatsu is a traditional Japanese table, which is covered with a blanket and has a heater placed underneath ) in the common space. You can enjoy the traditional Japanese culture.

The room is located just 6 minutes walk from Kubokawa station and no.37 Iwamoto temple. it's on the way of Shikoku Pilgrimage as well. the room faces east, so you can get the morning sun. kitchen, dining room and bathroom are available. we have wifi. it's free to use. a supermarket is very near here. if you access here by car, bike and any vehicles, it's no problems. we have a wide parking space.Travelers , cyclists, pilgrims and backpackers are welcome.
