Description Bed and breakfast In a Glasshouse is located in Oostwoud, in the heart of Westfriesland. It is a cottage-style home located behind our glass studio, in the deep waterfront garden. It can be rented as a B&B but also as a vacation home for a longer period. Among other things, there is a Grand Cafe De Post around the corner where you can eat delicious food and a pizza eater Giovanni Midwoud that also delivered. There is a motorboat available for a fee. Our charming guesthouse has everything you need for a relax stay. Located on the countryside, surrounded by grassland and green, at a beautiful road with a tunnel of trees. You can reach the sea and beach of Callantsoog within 10 minutes. The closest small town with supermarket, bakery and restaurant is only 5 min. away. Visit Schagen with bars and restaurants, shopping and different kind of events in less than 10 minutes. Cheese-city Alkmaar is only 30 minutes away, and Amsterdam 1 hour.

Our cozy B&B is centrally located in the head of North Holland. Because of this location we are very easy to reach both by car and by public transport. The cottage is completely private in a very large garden with its own sunny terrace. Make use of all facilities offered including digital TV & internet. The lodge is located approximately 10 km from the beach and you can also make many nice trips. Visit Enkhuizen, the cheese market in Alkmaar or take the train to Amsterdam.

New apartment in the Farmhouse Tolke28 a small paradise in North Holland Tolke28 is the perfect place for nature lovers, hikers, cyclists, beach goers and families with small children. You will be staying in an apartment in our farmhouse. This also means that you may hear us walking stairs and that you can hear us walking over the first floor. The apartment is not large (14 by 5 meters), but the associated garden is excellent. Take your own egg out of the chicken coop

Art & Tatra (Art of Lida and Cees cars)

Our B&B is located in the heart of Waarland, with Alkmaar, Schagen and Heerhugowaard within cycling distance. It is a guest house for 4 people, suitable for a family with older children. There is no train station in Waarland and in the evening there are no buses. Without a car, we may not be the right location. For stays longer than 5 days, a discount is given, but you have to take care of the breakfast yourself.

Shaving bridge between city and beach

The village of Schagerbrug is located in the Kop van Noord-Holland, in the municipality of Schagen. Around the village you will find an open polder landscape in which you can hike and bike excellently. Not far west of Schagerbrug is a beautiful dune area, the Zwanenwater, in which you can relax well. A beautiful beach walk is of course also possible! A visit to Den Helder or Alkmaar is also one of the options.

't Achterend is a beautiful guesthouse in our North Holland farm, rural location in the village of Stroet, near the sea and forest... Unfortunately, our apartment is not suitable for children, due to the ditch on the property. It is also possible to rent electric bicycles! (15,- per bike per day) Direct WiFi connection for working from home.
