In 2004 I got the chance to design my own family's week-end house in the village Pigniu. This fabulous place at 1300 meters above sea in the Surselva Region of Graubünden province, above the Town Ilanz, was well-known to me, for my parents owned an old farmhouse until the 1980ies here. The Spiral shaped chalet has the form of a band, changing from concrete in the base to wooden shingles upwards. The house is designed to connect us to the landscape we love. You will heat with chopped wood.

Ein grossartiges Wintersportgebiet. Skilanglaufloipe vor dem Haus. Bergbahn in 5 Minuten mit dem Auto erreichbar. Im Sommer ideal zum Wandern, Velofahren, Golfen, Schwimmen, Tennis, Klettern etc. Die Wohnung ist gemütlich und liebevoll eingerichtet. Es fehlt an nichts fürs Abschalten und Ferien machen.
