A quiet place by a quiet bay at the countryside. There is no public transport. The road to our place is a narrow road up the hill towards the mountain Beinisvør. By the town Lopra (before the tunnel to Sumba) you turn right. "Um Hestin". Before the top of the hill, turn left: Víkabyrgi. Our house is the last one on your left side. Luksus sommerhus i fantastiske omgivelser.

Luksus sommerhus fra 2022 i skønne omgivelser med en fantastisk udsigt, beliggende i et afsides sted med et utroligt rigt dyreliv. Du kan møde harer lige udenfor huset, og fugle bygger reder runt omkring i græsmarkerne. Der er 12 sengepladser i huset, plus 2 rejsesenge til småbørn, men masser af plads for ekstra madrasser på gulvet. Fra juli 2023 er det muligt at leje adgang til jacuzzi til 6 personer mod ekstra gebyr. 1.000kr for 1 dag, de efterfølgende dage koster det 500kr pr dag.

"Petursborg" luxury in Vágur

Luxury Villa Peter Dahl built "Petursborg" (Peter's Castle) in 1907 when he was the mayor of Vágur. Peter was a visionary man with a pioneer spirit. Among many projects he established the local bank, built the road through the village and was also deeply involved in the first hydro electric plant in the Faroe Island, located in Vágur. The entire house was renovated from 2022 to 2024 and is today a beautiful old style house with a modern touch.

Suduroy, luxury and cozy house with sea view

My traditional Faroese house is located on the southern island, Sudoroy, surrounded by breathtaking nature with public transportation right by the door. The 2 hour ferry trip to the island, return ticket about 11 euro and 37 euro with car, is beautiful. Newly renovated house decorated stylish and simple with danish designs. Beautiful sea and mountains view from all rooms.

We renovated this old boathouse recently. There is a rowingboat available as well. It is the family’s boat. The house offers you a peacefull sanctuary to collect your thoughts. 5 minutes walking distance to groceryshopping. Bus stop to the rest of the island is oposite the house as well. There is a bed for two people and a couch that also can fit two people

It's a really nice house near the harbour. Rustic in the good way. No fancy stuff. But everything you need to cook, relax and slow your life rythm. I felt quickly like at home. It's quite far from the "main" island (the one with torshavn). You will need to take a 2 hours ferry and then drive 10 minutes to get there. But Suduroy really deserve a few days. Nice hikes and beautiful sceneries.

Nice place to stay in a quiet village. Ocean views from the kitchen. House clean and was well stocked. Kitchen was well appointed with equipment. Bathroom was large and clean . Lundry machine was a very nice addition.

Bekvämt och fint boende mitt i Tvøroyri. Gångavstånd till livsmedelsbutiker och pizzeria/hamburgerställe. Rymligt boende och väldigt skön säng. Enkel in- och utcheckning. Jag kommer gärna tillbaka.

Appartamento spazioso, pulito e sito in una posizione tranquilla. Per chi soggiorna qui è consigliabile avere l'auto. Un po' costoso il noleggio di lenzuola e asciugamani pagato a parte.

Great flat, very spacious and with everything you need for your stay. As pictured. Easy to find and central. Supermarket, bus stop, cafes and restaurant walking distance from the flat. I had a very comfortable stay. Good communication from Henrik. Would come back and recommend. Be aware of steep steps to get to the flat if you have heavy luggage or mobility issues.

Uno dei pochi alloggi a Sumba. Kaja ci ha accolti con caffè caldo e biscotti. La casa è pulitissima anche se l’arredo è molto spartano. Stupenda la vista su Sumba e i dintorni. Portarsi da mangiare perchè a Sumba non c’è nè un bar nè un negozio.
