Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Sturgeon Lake

Everything was great. The home was clean, beds really comfortable, well equipped kitchen, nice backyard, room for all of our 3 cars and very spacious bedrooms and bathrooms. We had a very nice stay there and would recommend to anyone to reserve this home.

The rental place is clean and well organized. Nina is quick to respond. Will definitely recommend to anyone looking for a place in the area.

We had a lovely stay. The place was even nicer than we expected. This is the best air bnb we’ve ever had. It was really private and really clean, which was exactly what we were looking for. They provided so many little things which just added to the overall experience. Its the small things that go a long way. The place was really open concept and just really well furnished. Gave a fantastic vibe. The hot stub was clean, private and lovely. You wont be disappointed whatsoever here. Thank you for being a fantastic host Rebecca.

We stayed at Dylan’s place for the weekend with 13 adults and 4 kids. There was enough rooms and beds for all of us with adequate bedding and space. The house was clean and well equipped for our weekend! Before the stay we had lots of questions and Dylan was very responsive and answered everything in a timely manner and with lots of details. He was always following up during the weekend as well. The dock is beautiful and amazing! It was a bit buggy but that’s expected near the waters. We used the kayaks and boat and had a wonderful time!

Chelsea’s place was absolutely beautiful ! Upon walking in the house, the view of the water is breathtaking and did not get old each morning while sipping our coffees. The home itself was very homey, and a great wide open space for gathering with friends. Chelsea was super helpful when booking, made recommendations and was super responsive during our stay with any questions we had. I would highly recommend a stay here - can’t get much closer to being “on the lake”!

Very nice stay, if we are ever in Port Hope again we will be staying here! Close to downtown, and the place is private and well kept! Would recommend!

My husband and I spent our first year anniversary at Lanny & Jennifer’s beautiful property. Right from the start, they made us feel right at home by greeting us and giving us a walk through of the property. We never felt so at home at an air b n b! The place is so well kept - clean, smelled great & had all the essentials. We felt safe and at home throughout the stay. The pool was well kept and the laundry was an amazing addition. The neighbour hood is quiet and close to all the stores. The hosts were extremely personable and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. We highly recommend this property and we will be back!

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay. Robin’s house was located very close to all the arena’s in Peterbourgh. We were there to watch our grandson play lacrosse. Hopefully they will return next year to this tournament. I will definetly be rebooking Robin’s loft. It was just as advertised. I also appreciated the selection of coffees. This was our fourth visit!! We have now stayed in all four rooms and we were in the King’s Den this time!! It felt like coming home as we were greeted with a hug from Taurean and Robert. We had a peaceful three night stay where we spent our time relaxing on the dock, in the hot tub and paddling the river in the paddle boat. Looking forward to our next visit. Glad to have found this little gem!!

We absolutely loved our stay at Chantal and Sylvain’s place! From the moment we walked in, we were very impressed by this clean, cozy, and beautifully-furnished home-away-from-home. Our hosts thought of everything, and were friendly, responsive and helpful. Their place is complete with everything you could need for a comfortable stay, in addition to some additional thoughtful, special touches. We had fun playing some of the many available board games, and found it so peaceful to sit in their quiet backyard, surrounded by trees. We LOVED lounging in the beautiful hot tub. Next time we’re in Coldwater, we would definitely stay at Chantal and Sylvain’s place again! Highly recommend!

We really enjoyed our stay. The suite is spacious, clean and equipped well. The beds were nice and firm with lots of blankets. it's a great place to relax after a super busy day. The hosts were also super responsive and helpful. Highly recommend.

Wonderful hosts with outstanding HOT homemade breakfasts! Really appreciated the extra perks of magnifier make-up mirror, house coat, lush towels, several Keurig coffee pod choices and 2 choices for my own private exterior sitting area. Level access and close parking to entrance, extra wide interior doors. MaryAnn was spot on for my food choices even including 10% cream for my morning coffee and crisp bacon. Very large space with two large bedrooms, slept like a baby and the TV included all the streaming you would want Close to Art College and short drive into town of Haliburton. It was a bit chilly for June but Gerry turned on the propane fireplace then all was cozy. Book it - you won't be disappointed!

This is my second time staying here and it was just as comfortable and quiet as I remembered from my first trip. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a great place to stay in Newmarket.

Beautiful home with classy decor. Home was cozy but scantily equipped with needed kitchen amenities. Be sure to read the house rules before booking! House rules are unnecessarily excessive, makes it uncomfortable to get that "home away from home" experience, so read the house rules before booking! Host must have had unpleasant situations with guests in the past. The house is gorgeously decorated and pristine, should be featured in a home magazine for real. Overall, we had a great stay!

I had the pleasure of returning to this wonderful Airbnb, and it was just as amazing as I remembered, if not better. The space is beautifully curated, with such an artistic flair that immediately makes you feel at home. Every corner of the home is thoughtfully designed, blending comfort with creativity, making it a perfect retreat. Sara is an absolute gem. She was incredibly responsive to all my questions, ensuring everything was perfect for my stay. Her warmth and attention to detail made the entire experience seamless and inviting. Patricks place was a perfect mini get away thats close around the city! We absolutely loved how private and spacious his place is. The pool and sauna was needed on a hot day! Definitely will come back again!

We recently stayed at this property while attending a graduation in Oshawa with a large group of 9 adults and 6 children. The space was spacious and able to comfortably accommodate our group, which was a huge plus. What truly stood out was how responsive and accommodating the hosts were throughout our stay. Anytime we had a concern or request, they responded promptly and made every effort to ensure we were comfortable. That level of attentiveness really made a difference for us. Overall, we had a great time and would definitely stay here again. Thank you to the hosts for being so engaged and supportive!

Beautiful and serene neighborhood - we really enjoyed our daily walks there. Lots of different types of restaurants and grocery stores - only minutes of drive away. The house is better than advertised, wonderfully spacious, and well designed with 7 bedrooms, 7 beds, 7 baths, perfect for family reunions or groups of friends. Susan was a great host. Her instructions and responses were timely, concise, and easy to follow. We had a magnificent time in the house and will definitely stay in it if it is available when we come back in the future.

My wife and I had a wonderful stay at Frank's place. It was spotless, beautiful, and so comfortable. My wife and I love to cook, and it was a real pleasure to have the use of such a well-equipped kitchen - a big thank you for having sharp knives! The beds were amazing, and we got to enjoy the club house (played pool) which was fantastic and well appointed. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again, perhaps in the summer next time, to enjoy the resort's amenities even more. Port Carling (5 minutes away) is a cute little town, and the Foodland there was stocked with items one would only expect in a much bigger locale. Thanks, Frank, for a restful and enjoyable vacation!
