We rent a cozy, friendly, bright apartment on the 2nd floor of an old building with 2 bedrooms (1 x 160 bed, 1 x 140 bed), great kitchen and bathroom with shower & bathtub. The sofa in the living room offers a sleeping option (squeaks a little). The small town of Hagenow is located between the "Schaalsee Biosphere Reserve" and the "Elbe River Landscape Biosphere Reserve", and the cities of Ludwigslust and Schwerin can also be reached quickly by train. The Baltic Sea is only 1 hour away by car.

5/5 stars – Fantastic accommodation with wonderful garden and warm hostess The place was just a dream! The garden or courtyard is incredibly beautiful – a green oasis, perfect for relaxing. Everything was extremely well equipped, nothing was really missing. You can immediately see how much love for detail everything was furnished here. I would especially like to highlight the hostess: super nice, open, warm and simply totally likeable. I felt welcome from the first moment. An absolute recommendation (also ideal for small children) – I'd love to come back!

We spent a great few days in this beautiful house. The children loved to count the numerous snails, discover the dike with the handcart or make bread on a stick in the garden. In the morning, we saw a deer with two fawns up close and were able to observe numerous birds. And Mechthild and her husband were also very nice hosts with whom you could have a chat in the garden from time to time.
