Come to the hill of love and stay in a lovely home

About almost 8 years ago we found a wonderfull place in the hills around Maribor. Sharing this special place with good people made us so happy, that we decided to built facilities to stay. So we started to renovate our little garbage hut and tool shed, building a little bath house and a bigger tent for families. By renting the small cottages, we can combine the joy of sharing this place with living a little bit of it.

We spent four wonderful days in Maren's house in southern Styria – and can absolutely recommend it! The house is in a fantastic location, very quiet, with beautiful views – ideal to just unwind. The accommodation itself is spotlessly clean, very spacious and perfect for families. The photos on Airbnb hardly do the house justice – in reality, it is much more beautiful, cozy and lovingly designed than it appears online. Maren lives right next door and is a very pleasant, unobtrusive host. You feel immediately welcome and in good hands. A small but important note: The air conditioning and the charging of electric cars are linked to the photovoltaic system - so this only works if there is enough sun. You should just know that beforehand, then it's not a problem at all. All in all: a great house, a great place, and a real recommendation.

What more can I say about Elfriede (Elfi) and her husband? The most cheerful, friendly, welcoming and helpful hosts we could have possibly asked for. Even though we were only staying a single night for a wedding they went out of their way to make us comfortable, and even gave us a ride back to the station (with a local sightseeing tour!) afterwards. Their house is absolutely gorgeous and full of character. We definitely regret not staying longer! Highly recommended.

We loved the Lexsimihof from the first moment. It is a home that can only be described as unique in terms of location and amenities. The furniture is very tasteful and stands out from many houses we have met so far. The magnificent garden and especially the beautiful cherry tree in front of the house are unique. The house is very lonely but if you like it, it is an oasis of peace. The kitchen and bathroom are well equipped in every way. We haven't been to Lexsimihof for the last time.

Our stay was nothing short of amazing. The property was absolutely stunning and was so well equipped that there was absolutely nothing you could think of that was missing. Beautifully decorated, in pristine condition in stunning surroundings. The amazing wellness facilities were perfect for relaxation after our hikes through the stunning vineyards in close proximity to the property. I really can not recommend this property enough. Our host Ute, was extremely professional, very proactive and communicative and provided valuable tips for restaurants, vineyards and places of interest. I will definitely come back soon.

Let's say this: the place was love at the first sight. A beautiful wooden building, lovingly and tastefully furnished. Plus the wonderful tranquility. Our host - who we secretly called Uncle Herbert 😉 - provided us with a lot of information. All in all, a great place, ideal for relaxing (also thanks to the jacuzzi) or for trips to Styrian Tuscany. In summary, we have to say, “Don't come here!” Otherwise, our next booking might already be occupied😂😂. Seriously: it was wonderful🥰🥰!!!
