Welcome to ARTEna, our small apartment in Kassel. The apartment is 39 square meters and faces north. Through the large window fronts in the living-dining room, the room is flooded with light and you have a beautiful view of the garden. The kitchenette is equipped with everything. - Dishwasher - Stove with oven - Range hood - Fridge with freezer compartment The ceiling height in this room is only 1.95 m. The bedroom adjoins this room. The bedroom has a 1.60 m wide bed and a walk-in closet. Linens and towels are included. In the bedroom is the TV and a small desk. From the bedroom you enter the bathroom, which has a shower. Outside there is a small glass house with plants and seating. In front of the apartment is a beautiful terrace with garden furniture. The apartment is located in Kassel/Kirchditmold. Here you are in the middle of the countryside in the immediate vicinity of the forest. You can walk to Bergpark Wilhelmshöhe. However, there is also a good connection to public transport. The front west with its Wilhelminian-style buildings is four tram stops away. Here it is particularly beautiful and diverse around Bebelplatz. Grocery stores are within walking distance. While centrally located near both public transport stations as well as Europe’s largest hill park "Bergpark", it's still amazingly quiet and peaceful. Shops and restaurants are within walking distance as are fields and meadows that will make you forget you're actually in a city. We offer two separate sleeping areas, a well-equipped kitchen as well as living room and space for working.

We live in the countryside with lots of greenery and fresh air and free spirit and are open to guests. The bake house, with traditional furnishings, wood-burning oven, sleeping loft and completely timeless comfort, is located separately on our property. Next to the house is the modern bathhouse for the exclusive use of our guests. In our house, we read a lot, philosophize, drink good wine and take care of the essentials in life, purely minimalist! Adventure instead of luxury.

We have furnished our apartment in a minimalist, clear and charming way. It is located in a popular district of Kassel. All important places (UNESCO World Heritage Mountain Park, Anthroposophical Center, Congress Palace City Hall, etc.) are easily accessible. The ICE train station can be reached on foot in 15 minutes. A kitchen is not integrated into the apartment, but there is a way to make tea or coffee. A small refrigerator is available.

My small but nice flat is within walking distance of the Wilhelmshöhe train station (the station is about a 3-minute walk away). From there you can reach destinations all over Kassel by simply getting on one of the trams or buses. The Documenta exhibition sites in the city centre are about 13 minutes away. There are several restaurants and shopping facilities close to the flat. The flat is located in a quiet side street.

Our accommodation is located in the middle of Germany, close to Kassel and surrounded by nature. You will love it because of the heavenly tranquility, the gateway to the forest and yet only 20 km away from Kassel by car or tram. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, families (with kids), and big groups. Unless they are uncontrollable fighting dogs, animals are welcome to us and regularly feel very comfortable.
