Vacation rentals with a washer and dryer in Stann Creek District

My family of five had a great stay at Easy Living’s apartment. The property owner was quick to respond and friendly! We were disappointed to learn that there wasn’t a washer available for us to use while there, but the owner very kindly did a load of laundry for us, which was super helpful. This is a great location, right on the sidewalk and steps from the beach.

Marlon’s place was really beautiful and in a great location. We walked into town and also walked over the beaches near the resorts easily. The home is beautiful and full of gorgeous art. The AC was wonderful and it was well stocked. The dryer did not work when we were there but we just hung our clothes up and they dried quickly so it wasn’t a problem. Of note, we were given water for the dispenser during our stay, but it was not enough for our group of 8. There is a close grocery store we could get more easily. Overall, it was a wonderful stay, with easy check in and very responsive hosts! We would absolutely stay again!

This place was perfect for our week in Placencia. it is conveniently located just off "the Sidewalk" (which is at the heart of Placencia) but was quiet and relaxing. The views from the front porch were fabulous. We had direct access to the beach and enjoyed the hammock and swing. The kitchen is adequate and more than adequate for what we needed (lots of great restaurants within easy walking distance). The washer and dryer were a huge bonus!

It’s a very comfortable little place to stay. Close to everything but far enough away from the centre of town that it is still quiet at night.

This was our 8th stay in Placencia. We have always stayed at the same place which we love but it was not avaliable. Trying somewhere new was a little iffy but the Updeh Apartment at Ohana did not disappoint. The inside and outside are beautiful. We truly enjoyed our 10 days and cannot wait to go back. Thank you for everything!

Our stay was great the host was responsive. The home is farther north on the peninsula which I knew and liked. If you like to travel inland this is a great location, it saves you many bumps and time. I will say with the store closing in Maya Beach currently you have to go to Seine Bight or Santa Cruz to find a grocery store. Hopefully the Maya Beach store will reopen soon. I would definitely stay here again. The beach was nice and great for swimming you can wade very far out, we also used the kayaks. The neighbors are friendly and it is a very quiet area. We stayed in one of the two lower suites and my only complaint is that the noise from the chairs above being scooted across the floor is horrible. They need a pad placed on the legs. We had a family of 8 staying above us 6 of the days and there was lots of noise from the chairs being moved around. It is a very loud screeching sound. Other than that we had no complaints. We look forward to staying gain.

Beautiful spot, clean easy to live in house. Bay is truly shallow (2-2.5ft)- safe for our daughter who doesn’t swim well to be on a floatie. Cool to watch fish, stingrays and birds just from the pier. Deep enough to get a local boat pick up at the end. We definitely needed bug spray for the sandflies, but really just at dawn and dusk. We stayed in the bottom. There was a nice couple on the second story for one night. Help with any small things prompt from Janette and Alex who showed us how to open a green coconut for fresh coconut water.

We loved our stay and will ONLY stay here whenever we visit Placencia. The apartment seems newly renovated. Everything is in pristine condition. The water gets really hot. The balcony is large. You can reach the beach and restaurants in under 2 minutes walking. You can reach the grocery store and bank in about 7 minutes walking. The host went out of his way to ensure my daughter and I had everything we needed. Days after checking out, we saw the host outside while we were searching for a location and the host saw us, checked on us, and went out of his way to help us. Not only is he a great host, he's a great person!

Karen’s place exceeded our expectations. We do not like to travel to areas that are packed with tourists. Staying at Sittee Point was perfect- the village of Hopkins had everything we needed and the vibe was so peaceful. The home and beach area were perfect for our family’s needs. We had access to everything we needed for a wonderful week in Belize. Karen was very responsive to our questions, the caretaker Brian was very helpful as well, and the boat captain Steven was a treasure. If/when we find ourselves planning a trip to Belize again, we will definitely want to stay at Karen’s place.

Phil's place is a great location for exploring Belize without the tourists! Centrally located in the southern part of the country, it was within an hour of great little villages like Placencia, Dangriga and Hopkins, as well as the mountains and cayes for hiking, zip lining, snorkeling, caving...you name it. It's off the beaten path, nestled in a reserve so be prepared for driving on dirt roads to get there, but hey, it's Belize, so that's common and you'll get used to it. We drove from Belize City so didn't take up Phil's offer to rent his personal Jeep, but you'll definitely need an SUV (that's all rental companies provide anyway). It's a good place to stay if you are allergic to tourists and want a nice quiet, peaceful home with all the amenities....but close enough to drive in for dinner or drinks with expats or tourists if you get lonely. Phil's house was super clean, safe, beautiful, comfortable and well provisioned. We stayed with our two teenage boys who loved the pool and the beach club with access to the ocean, paddle boards and kayaks. We had it to ourselves most days! There is no cable TV (which we loved) but Phil's got the most amazing collection of movies (1,000+) so you won't be bored (movie night was every night!). Since it's a bit remote, you likely won't be going out to eat every day, so stop by a grocery store in any of the towns on the way in or the surprisingly well-stocked store on the community, including a case of Belikin beer in a returnable crate (THE beer of Belize).

Mirko was an extremely helpful host! The place is beautiful and walkable to the start of all of our Sittee River adventures (bioluminescence tour and snorkeling) Having bikes was great to bike into “downtown” Hopkins from the house

Words really can’t express how beautiful Tamzin’s place was! The pictures really did show just how amazing the space is. There is nothing else we could have wanted this place to be stocked with. Tamzin went above any beyond making sure we felt welcomed upon arrival. Don’t hesitate booking this place.

We are a family of 5 and recently stayed at La Vida Belize. The house was clean and comfortable with everything we needed for our stay. The plunge pool, beach and dock were the perfect place to relax after a day of adventure. We enjoyed being in a quieter area and didn’t mind the distance from the main area of Placencia. We rented a car and explored several areas in Belize during our stay. We used the guestbook for tips about the area and places to eat near Maya Beach. The grounds keepers were friendly and kept everything nice for us during our stay. The host responded quickly to any questions we had. During our week stay, some of the activities we were able to do included: snorkling with Captain Jak’s, visit the Bocawina Nation Park & Zip-line Adventure, fishing, a Monkey River tour and visit some Mayan Ruins. We also spent a good amount of time relaxing and reading on the beach or by the pool. We recommend staying here.

The White Orchid Villa is a lovely house in a beautiful setting on the banks of the Sittee River. It's surrounded by large trees that were filled abundant bird life that was a treat to listen to while sitting in the hammock in the screened in porch. Due to its location on the river there are lots of mosquitoes so bug spray is a must, which also made the screened in porch that much nicer. There is a canoe available to go explore the river and the lovely Town of Hopkins is a short drive away. The kitchen is fully stocked with lots of spices and everything you would need to prepare meals. The on-site caretakers Christina and Domingo were friendly and welcoming. Rupa, the owner was very helpful with suggestions and local contacts for tour guides. She also quickly responded to any questions we had. To top it off, there were friendly dogs with two adorable puppies that totally charmed my daughters. We would definitely come back!

Had a fantastic 5-night stay at the Toucan Guest House. Comfortable, well-appointed house in an ideal location. It is close to both Cockscomb and Bocawina—two of our favorite jungle reserves—so we had no problem getting to both during prime early morning birding hours. It was even close to Hopkins for restaurants, groceries, and the beach. Hosts were fantastic. We highly recommend.

As a native to Dangriga, I was happy to find such a beautiful place nestled in the middle of town. Banks, food, entertainment, beach, taxis, all central to location. Relax Inn rival some of the best resorts in the country. This is not a standard home converted to an AirBnB, this is an AirBnB built to US standard. My family and I were extremely pleased. From the washer / dryer to the extra air mattress, it seems like Miss Marilyn thought of it all. We all know what will happen next, it will be one good review after another and then the space availability will be come scarce. But this is the way it goes when you provide great service with an impeccable space. I plan to return to Dangriga in November and without discussion, Relax Inn is the place we plan to stay. At this point, the competition is thin. If you require peace, tranquility, and privacy with a touch of class…..Relax Inn should be your only choice.

Russelee and Scott were great hosts. We enjoyed the private room and nicely equipped shared space. The pool was amazing, and the Village was a quicker walk than expected. We loved snorkeling right off the beach in the Village. The guest guide book was helpful, ATM tour was out of this world! Lots of fond memories from this trip. Can’t wait to come back!

I had an amazing 10 star experience here - the condo had everything I needed for a very comfortable month-long stay. I felt right at home and very safe. SA, the owner, was very proactive with communication and provided so much helpful info (how to get fresh juice and local meat delivered, which days to visit the produce stands, duty free at the airport, etc). Emma and Edwin, the caretakers, are so friendly and are always available to help. Beyond spending your days on the beach, you can book numerous tours to keep you occupied (scuba, snorkel, cave tubing, Mayan ruins, ziplining, etc). I spent a lot of time just chillin' on the beautiful porch watching the gorgeous sunsets with a Belikin in-hand. If you rent a golf cart or bike, you can easily be in the heart of the town in 5-7 minutes with access to wonderful restaurants, markets and shops. I can't wait to come back when SA is also in town because she'd be a very cool person to hang out with!

Great place! Well appointed. Loved it and would stay again

We were on a girls trip and this place was perfect! We cooked breakfast everyday, and went to town for dinner each evening. The pools were great! Picking mangos and coco plums on the property was fun, and we loved seeing the birds and hummingbirds. We were glad we had a car for going to the grocery store and to town for dinner. The beach wasn’t as nice because of the seaweed, but I was still able to swim in the ocean 2 of the days. It vs was still very nice to sit on the beach and watch the waves.

What a beautiful place. It's quite and the staff is friendly. Kimberly the property manager was easy to talk to. Alvaro the head grounds keeper was awesome with taking care of us. Our place was on the 3rd floor but does not have an elevator, the 3rd bedroom is on a loft up the spiral staircase. 2 set of French doors leading onto the balcony. 1 from the master and the 2nd from the living room. Our trip included 4 people and we stayed a week. A picture perfect first time in Placencia. Will I be back? You betta Belize It!
