Small Paradise above the Walensee

A beautiful old countryside home, lovely furnished in a paradise-like setting. The house is perfect for people who are looking to get a break from the big, loud world or would like to discover the beautiful Swiss mountains by foot. If you are coming by public transport you will need to hike one hour on a very beautiful hiking path (Weesen - Quinten). If you decide to come by car you will only need to hike 15min from the parking lot to the house. We highly recommend to wear good hiking shoes.

Idealer Ausgangspunkt in der Altstadt für Alleinreisende, Freunde und Familie. Historisch, einzigartig, idyllisch und doch irgendwie wild gelegen an der Mülenenschlucht direkt beim UNESCO Weltkulturerbe Stiftsbezirk St.Gallen. A special place for holidays or weekends. A newly renovated apartment 35 square meters directly above the regionally and nationally known “Chössi” small theater. During the theater season (from September to June), there is usually a lively cultural operation with dance/theater/music or comedy on Saturdays. And this in the middle of beautiful Toggenburg, 100 meters from Lichtensteig train station. Starting point in summer and winter for Churfirsten, St. Gallen and Lake Zurich.

Sustainable living on the 2nd floor, free parking!

In our detached house, we rent our modern studio. The studio is located on the 1st floor, has its own entrance and is completely separate from our living area, except for the common staircase. We attach great importance to sustainability and heat our own home with geothermal energy and generate electricity with our PV system. Experience the special feeling of starting the day with a good conscience. Right next to the house entrance is there is a free parking space.

We do not offer cooking facilities, nor do we install temporary kitchens, it is not possible to prepare food in the room. Only the laundry room is shared. Perfect location. Less than 100m away from: Train station, bus stop, Fachhochschule, Lokremise (cultural center), Cafeteria Gleis 8, shopping facilities, Cityparking Parkhaus.

This pretty 1-room apartment is centrally located on the first floor with a separate entrance, small seating area and private kitchen. It is otherwise used as a practice room. The bathroom is 1 ½ meters away via the hallway. It is for exclusive use. I speak German, English, French and Spanish. I can somehow communicate in Italian.
