Vacation rentals with breakfast in St Albans

What an interesting and quirky place to stay! If you want to step back in time with modern amenities then this is the place for you. Cygnet Thatch has a fantastically well-equipped kitchen and 2 bathrooms, comfy beds and a huge log fire. A great find:)

Susie was incredibly respknsive and very helpful with local pub recommendations. She added a coffee brewer for we Americans. We enjoyed the conservatory immensely as well as the fireplaces! It was fun to be able to see her mother's successes as a trombone player. It was a peaceful and very safe area which we appreciated. Thanks!!

This was our second stay at Prae's beautiful AirBnB and it was even better than the first time, if that's possible. We travel from British Columbia to visit friends and family in St Albans and having a comfortable home base is paramount. Prae's home is simply lovely, with very close proximity to Verulam Park as well as they ever-yummy offerings of The Waffle House. 15-20 minutes' walking will take you to St Albans town centre, filled with all the shops, restaurants, pubs and cafés you could ever want. On this occasion, our son became unexpectedly ill shortly after arriving and we realised how lucky we were for him to have a cozy bed in a comfortable home while he recovered. If I could give Prae more than five stars, I would. She is the perfect host with an immaculate home, in an ideal setting! She is both friendly and professional, quickly responding whenever needed information and otherwise leaving us to enjoy our holiday. We hope to return! Thank you.

Helen has a beautiful house with very comfortable rooms. She made us very welcome through her messages, even though we didn't actually meet because she was away. She even let me park my classic car on the driveway for safe keeping - this meant a lot to me. I would highly recommend this place to others.

Darshan is extremely proactive, supportive and a caring host. I reached out to him as my child needed a place to stay overnight close to Heathrow airport before catching his flight back home for the summers. Darshan understood my worries and concerns and not only did he patiently answer all my queries but he anticipated what all my child could need and gave suggestions for the same. He kept me informed once my child reached out to him so that I wouldn't worry. My child had a great experience. Darshan and his family are simply wonderful hosts. Darshan also provides dinner and airport drop at an extra cost and that adds so much more value to the stay. Moreover, the convenience comes at a very reasonable price. My child, who doesn't open up to strangers easily, says it felt like staying with family and friends. Thank you Darshan from the bottom of my heart.

We really enjoyed our stay at Sarah’s! As a family with a baby and a young child, it was perfect, peaceful and well equipped for our stay. We particularly loved having breakfast provided there in the mornings, and the view was fantastic! It is a short walk to Marlow city centre and we would definitely stay here again!

Jeannette met us on our arrival, was very friendly and informative, and made sure we had plenty of provisions to make tea, coffee etc. The accommodation was clean and perfect for our stay.

We enjoyed the apartment thoroughly, very central location. Easy access to supermarkets and convenience stores. Stations were a stone throw away. Very well laid out and very private.

I have stayed here many times before. James and Suzanne are amazing hosts and I would happily stay here more often but they are always booked up….I think that speaks volumes 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻😊

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay, met with friends, easy for taxi drivers to find their way. Enjoyed the walks around the area, Newhall feels you are living in the countryside with all the greenery surrounding the area. Very pleasant area.

Nice airbnb located close to the train station which was great. Good for the price. Angie responded fast to any questions, which was greatly appreciated.

Ruth was very hospitable. Cottage was spotlessly clean and well equipped, breakfast was delicious with excellent choice of food and Ruth was really friendly and welcomed me into her home. Although time didnt allow me to eat a meal at the cottage the dinner menu looked very qppetising again with a good variety of choice. The balcony was a lovely spot to sit and work and a little sun trap. A small desk space also allowed me to work inside. Will definitely be back

The stay in Deborah’s house is like a dream, very luxurious, lovely kitchen, very comfortable bed, we slept like baby, the dogs are very lovely and not disturbing at all. Deborah gave us a feeling of coming home, she was very flexible with the reception, telling us nice story about the house, prepared delicious breakfast for us.

The property was easy to find and we received clear instructions with a lovely welcoming sign. Check-in was a breeze and David was a super friendly host. The breakfast provided was exceptional and it was lovely to be able to pick a time for breakfast and there were various options. Inside was spotless, it was very clean and well presented and there was space to park our vehicle outside. Superb location, lovely countryside setting and great host. Would 100% return. Amazing short stay at Verna’s place whilst away on business. Will definitely stay again in the near future. The room was really restful, great amenities, and off street parking was a bonus. Highly recommend!

We loved our stay with Annie, Andrew and Stanley and would love to come back. The house has been lovingly restored and is beautifully decorated and furnished. We so enjoyed the delicious made to order breakfasts every morning that kept us going until dinner time. Stanley greeted us whenever we came and went and was a welcome surrogate for our own pup at home. The location is perfect - a short walk from the tube station and immediately across the street from beautiful Bishop’s Park. It's easy to travel to London city centre via train and underground. Whitton station is only about 10 minutes walk from the accommodation. Laura was very generous in providing a basket of fruits, juice, milk etc. for our enjoyment. Thank you, Laura!

I cannot say enough good things about Shelagh and her beautiful Airbnb! Shelagh made us feel welcome and cared for and was always available if we needed anything, while still ensuring our privacy. The house is stunning with comfortable accommodations and gorgeous flowers and plants surrounding her Award Winning house. The shower had great water pressure and plenty of hot water, the bed was very comfortable with pristine linens. We loved it so much we wanted to move in! While there is no kitchen, there is a small fridge/freezer in Shelagh's barn where you can keep food and drink. There is a breakfast "nook" where Shelagh supplies Nespresso pods, tea, bread, croissants, milk, butter and delicious jams for breakfast. Plus - fabulous fresh eggs if her hens are laying. There is easy access to several towns, with a pub/restaurant just down the road. You cannot go wrong staying here at Shelagh's! Such a gorgeous property!
