The old school/schoolmaster's house is on the edge of a tiny village where there's no shop, no café, so you’ll need a car. It's very rural here, with views across the gently undulating countryside from the school. Two small towns with supermarkets - La Machine and Cercy-la-Tour, are both about 11 kilometres away. Decize, a much larger town on the Loire, is about 18 km away. There are two double bedrooms, and another small one with a triple-layer bunk bed suitable for children.

Pleasant, family house

The house was built of former horse stables and will surprise it with many pretty details. The house is very comfortably furnished: on the ground floor there is a well-equipped open kitchen with dining area as well as a comfortable living room with TV/DVD. Everything is spacious, open and cozy designed. On the upper floor are two bedrooms with a private bathroom, either with shower or bathtub. In addition, there are two outdoor seating areas with barbecue facilities.

perfect accommodation for 1 person (2 possible but limited space). 10 minute walk to Palais des Congrès. Supermarket 5 minutes' walk away. I didn't have to move my car during the stay. I will surely come back in the years to come.

An inhabited house, prepared for us. Classically furnished, functional, everything you need available, we quickly felt comfortable. The city center is quickly reached on foot, the motorcycles were perfect in the garage located in the house. Many thanks to the hosts, it's a very nice house.

A big thank you to Pierre and Georges for their kindness. A corner of heaven. Everything was perfect! We had a great long weekend, very exotic for city dwellers in need of greenery and calm. Address recommended in the city center of St Amand Montrond.
