Yurt vacation rentals in Southern Europe

Such a great find; morning walks on the beach, cooking outside, relaxing on the day bed, making drinks at your own little bar and watching the sunset from the outside bath. Completely unique, would definitely recommend.

We didn't want to leave. Next year we will come back. Ali and Matt are really great hosts. They are welcoming and always willing to help. We could feel that they really want to share with us the space that they have created with so much love and detail. The place is an inspiration for every every one who values self made things. We had a fantastic experience in the yurt. It is as beautiful and cozy as the photos suggested. We have slept well and exceptionally deep. Everything is full of nice, but also well thought through details. We love cooking, and the kitchen has everything we needed. Even the knives were sharp (first time in all those years of using AirBNB)! Some nights we made BBQ. The view from the terrace is amazing. You can even see the mediterranen sea in the distance. The yurt and the kitchen are nicely private, still not isolate as there are the other gites just a few stairs up the mountain. There are many activities that you can enjoy there. There are great hiking routes that pass through oak, chestnut and hazel tree forest, with creeks and natural pools. However, we spent most of the time just around the yurt and the pool. It was so relaxing. It's also an amazing place for kids. The pool kept our 5 year old son busy for hours, as did the trampoline. Our son also loved riding the donkey when we did a small hike with the other guests that was organised by the hosts. Ali can organise bread and fresh croissants every morning if you like. For us that was great as we did not have leave the place. Actually we only once to a super market in 7 days. The car stayed still. We decelerated instead.

Wunderschön. Die Jurte war toll und unglaublich gemütlich, wir hatten alles was wir brauchten. Es gab einen sehr großen Bereich der nur für uns war. Kaitlyn war super freundlich und hat uns viele Tipps für die Umgebung gegeben. Es war ein toller Aufenthalt und wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen! Vielen Dank :-)

Petit Havre de paix où parents et enfants peuvent se ressourcer. Le cadre est calme et dyllique avec de nombreuses activités sur place (bain finlandais, sauna, tyrolienne, pétanque, volley, ping-pong, poutres et toboggan..). Pierre et sa famille sont des hôtes bienveillants et attentionnés. Et la petite visite de Doug, la mascotte à 4 pattes, fut fort appréciée :-) Nous recommandons les yeux fermés !

If you’re thinking about booking the yurt, do it! Even staying in early May, it stayed very warm inside the yurt and the “outdoor” shower always had hot water readily available. Even in the rain, the yurt stayed dry. The breakfast every morning was an absolute highlight and Pedro and his wife were warm and welcoming. Loved the concept and idea!

La famille est très accueillante, on se sent tout de suite bien. L’espace est super bien pensé, décoré avec goût, qualité , et rempli de petites attentions, même la vaisselle est jolie ! Le petit-déjeuner est vraiment délicieux avec des ingrédients naturels bio . Mention spéciale pour la douche extérieure, et le chat qui vient faire un tour le soir, trop mignon.

The place was perfect. Quiet and like a little paradise in nature. Sleeping in a yourt was a great experience and everything in the yourt, in the kitchen, the shower and the bathroom is made with love for detail. Everything quite charming, surrounding, living space and the hosting family. A special and big thank you goes out to Susana for a lovely and interesting chat.

This by far was one of the most beautiful/Scenic home we've stayed in! There are no words to describe how amazing this family is. It's awesome to be able to explore their property, livestock, and organic farm! As for transportation, if you don't have your own car to rent, the bus is easily accessible and drops you off very close to the home. The yurt is perfect for 2, with everything you need! The fresh mountain spring water was a huge plus! We will definitely be back!! ♡

We had a fantastic stay! Really enjoyed being surrounded by nature, with stunning views, yet it was just a short distance from town. It had all the amenities needed, and the BBQ setup made for some great meals. Ian, the host, was very friendly and helpful, and gave us hiking tips. Hopefully will come back soon!

5 estrellas sin pensarlo. El alojamiento de Sue es perfecto para descubrir la isla por su localización con accesibilidad tanto a las zonas de playas como a los puntos turísticos de interés. Por otro lado la tranquilidad y privacidad son máximas aunque sea un espacio abierto y el extra del jacuzzi exterior es la guinda del pastel. Recomendable 120%.

Staying at Kausay was an unforgettable experience. The place is even more beautiful than in the photos—thoughtfully designed, incredibly serene, and filled with calm, positive energy. Nestled in a lush valley surrounded by olive and orange groves, it's the perfect place to reconnect with nature and oneself. The traditional Mongolian yurts are cozy and comfortable, and the absence of mobile network coverage truly allows for a digital detox. However, there is a wifi connection for online messaging. Jeroen is a fantastic soul—super kind, responsive, and genuinely cared about making my stay special. If you're looking for a peaceful, inspiring, and comfortable place to stay, Kausay is a gem. I will definitely come back. Highly recommend!

Magnifique Yourte pour 4 personnes dans un environnement exceptionnel avec une vue à couper le souffle. Hôtes très sympathiques à l'accueil tout en simplicité et chaleureux. Nous avons pleinement profité de l'espace détente et plus particulièrement du jacuzzi, installé en extérieur, dans ce cadre fantastique. La présence de la cuisine d'été offre une bonne solution pour être autonome au niveau des repas. Très chouette moment de détente, en famille, avec "option sans Wifii" pour ceux qui souhaitent retrouver le goût d'avant sans les écrans...

Très jolie yourte agréable et confortable ! Une bonne déconnexion. Un excellent petit déjeuner avec des produits locaux. Et des propriétaires très agréables et disponibles Bref nous avons adoré !

Mon conjoint et moi avons séjourné une première fois en 2023 dans la yourte d'Isabelle, et avions adoré ! Ainsi, pour notre plus grand plaisir nous y sommes retournés lors de notre road Trip autour des Cévennes. Accueil parfait ! Endroit ressourçant, au calme. La yourte est spacieuse et confortable. Isabelle et son mari sont des hôtes adorables :)

A artisanal house immersed in nature, surrounded by beautiful mounds where you often see sheep grazing in the pastures. In the immediate surroundings you will find a variety of flora and a thriving ecosystem in which multiple species of beetles, bumblebees, spiders and butterflies are common sight (good indicator of a healthy environment). At sundown - as I am writing in late May with 27°C - you hear the frogs croaking in the nearby puddle which is within the property, and throughout the night, the nightsky is clear of artificial lights, so you can see plenty of stars. There are also, naturally, a lot of bugs in the night, but we didn't have many problems keeping them out of the house, being careful with opening and closing the door. The house kept a perfect temperature during the night, without the need for any heating. Its design is clever and aesthetically very interesting. We had a wonderful time and fully recommend this place.

La yurta té la capacitat de donar-te un espai recollit i acollidor. El nostre fill de dos anys s'ho va passar superbé, tenia moltes joguines interessants a disposició, la terrassa de fora té molta intimitat i un cel espectacular per esmorzar de bon matí. Els animals del voltant són molt simpàtics.

We had a perfect stay at John’s yurt. The yurt was very well equipped, and we had everything we needed. The area was also very beautiful and a perfect place to watch the sunset and stars. We are extremely appreciative of John and family’s hospitality and warmth, not to mention going above and beyond when we had a flat tire in the morning! Definitely recommend! Thanks so much for having us, hope we will be back one day :))
