Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Sonian Forest

We enjoyed staying at Antoine's very much. The apartment is very tastefully furnished and has everything you need. We were there in June, unfortunately it wasn't too warm. But we were able to use the pellet stove and then it was very cozy. The apartment is definitely recommended and is actually even nicer than in the photos. It is located directly on the street – but that is not really disturbing. The area is really great. You can hike, bike and see Brussels, Namur, and Löwen. It's perfectly located for this. We would come back.

We had a very nice stay in this vacation home during our annual friends weekend. The house is in a nice and quiet area, looked very clean and tidy inside and was spacious! A perfect home for a slightly larger group of people. The kitchen was equipped with ample amounts of glasses, plates and cutlery, which is nice. Due to the multiple bathrooms, in addition to the fact that you can stay in this house with many people, there is also privacy. The beds were comfortable and the bedding was spotless and white. The contact with the host and his wife was easy and friendly, the instructions were clear and straightforward. A very nice house that is fully equipped! One of the nicest homes where we have been able to celebrate our friends weekend, definitely recommended! 🌞

Very nice setting. Terrace looks out over meadow with cows. In the sun till late in the evening. Full privacy. Quiet and beautiful surrounding, perfect for hiking. Small chalet with nice and cosy interior. Be aware that it is basic: everything in the same room (kitchen, table, bed, shower, toilet...). Not able to cook (fridge, dishwasher, sink, coffee machine, oven, small microwave (not on photos)), but no cooking plates. Great terrace with jacuzzi.

Amazing location on a hill with a beautiful view. The bedroom was a bit hot even at night but very comfortable. Very nice bathroom with plenty of space and there was a table for tabletennis. Overall a very nice stay! Thank you! ❤️

Our group had a really nice time at Alexandra’s. The home was clean and beautifully furnished, and the beds extremely comfortable. The location was great, easy commute to the city center but far enough away for a quiet and peaceful evening. The overall layout felt a little odd to us, no toilet on the main floor which meant a trip up or down the stairs multiple times. Also each bedroom was on its own floor which in theory provides great privacy but with young children it turns into a middle of the night work out. We would recommend the home to families or groups that do not have mobility limitations due to the amount of stairs you will encounter.

We stayed 2 nights with 7 people in Kris' Airbnb. The accommodation was exactly as the pictures and we liked it very much. The house was beautifully spacious and had all the facilities / stuff you need. Think of the necessities for the barbecue, herbs, coffee, tea, etc. During our stay we were lucky that the weather was beautiful, making the swimming pool perfect. The contact with Kris went smoothly and quickly. We also liked that the check-out time was flexible so we could leave at our leisure. We had a great stay with little to criticize. If you had to give a point of feedback, it is that 1 bathroom for 7 (or 8) people is actually just not enough. We knew this in advance, but a 2nd bathroom would be useful. We had a lovely stay at Frédéric's in Lasne. The place is just as described. The Jacuzzi and swimming pool are immediately ready for use upon arrival. The garden is also perfect for dogs. It is fully fenced. Every detail has been thought of in the house and you will not be short of anything. The host is also great. What kind people. There are all kinds of tips available about the area. In short... You won't regret booking this house. We certainly hope to be able to come back again.

Had a lovely weekend at Kelly and Stijn's cottage. Beautiful cottage, perhaps more beautiful than in the photos and beautiful location. Arrival and departure times were also super. So recommended!

This apartment overlooks the Grand Place. It's a great location - very convenient to restaurants and shopping. The beds are comfy, and linens top notch. We didn't do any cooking, but the coffee maker worked and the kitchen was clean. Everyone we talked to - Kevin and Nicholas - were great - very helpful! Some evenings there are musicians performing in the square - the windows open so you can sit in the apartment and enjoy the wonderful sounds. I'd definitely come back here again!

Laure was a very gracious host who communicated well without being intrusive and was prompt and clear. Most importantly for us Laure allowed us to check in very early which was such a help after an overnight transatlantic flight into a new city we have not been to before. So grateful to have somewhere warm and cosy to settle in straight away with minimal fuss and easy instructions. The same goes for the allowance for a late checkout although we did not require it. The apartment was right in the centre of Brussels; walking distance to the main tourist attractions and 10 min walk to the central train station. This apartment helped make our stay in Brussels so easy, memorable and trouble free enabling our enjoyable days in Brussels. We thank Laure for her kind thoughtfulness.

We stayed with colleagues for a business trip. Eugenie's flat is amazing, very well decorated and ideally located in the city. Communication with Eugenie was smooth and seamless. We particularly loved the little snacks and coffee capsules that we found at our arrival, that makes us feel like home.

Great location, spacious clean, newly refurbished apartment with 2 bedrooms with own ensuited bathrooms. nice addition of coffee machines and pads. Local restaurants and shops nearby. Great for metro links. 25 mins walk to Grand Place.

Our stay at Nick's place was great, he was always responsive and proactively communicated with us. The description of the place match and even exceed our expectations because the studio feels a bit larger than what you can perceive through the pictures. The location is great being really close to Brussels-Nord and only a ca. 20 minute walk to the main square. It was great to find a place located in the ground floor, a feature not common in other listings which is ideal when travelling with someone with reduced mobility. The only downside was the reduced light entering the studio but this was only a minor detail.

Claudio is an incredibly friendly and helpful host. He went above and beyond to make us feel at home. The house is clean and is located in a great area with lots of good restaurants and cafe’s in the vicinity.

I am so glad to have stayed in Jean-Luc's place. It is a perfect place to unwind and enjoy the beautiful garden, swimming pool and his well-equipped villa. Moreover, Jean-Luc is a great host, easy to talk to and answers queries promptly and humbly. You will feel comfortable in his hidden gem. He is so warm and friendly.

Seppe and Petra were super friendly hosts and responded quickly. We received a warm welcome with a handy information folder. The house is charming, with a beautiful (indoor) winter garden. Due to the heat and the winter garden, there were some gnats present, which was annoying for a while, but after good ventilation that was quickly resolved. The rooms are beautiful, although the space with the sofa bed is open, good to know. The bathroom was great, with a wonderful outdoor feeling in the shower. And the bakery nearby is recommended. Great stay, thanks to very responsive hosts, and a spotless house for a family stay. Spacious, bright, clean, with a very nice exterior in sunny weather. The location is very favorable for a visit to Brussels and the surroundings. Nothing to say, I would highly recommend this house, which deserves the rating given by previous guests. We stayed as a group of work colleagues for 2 nights and it was perfect for us. Philippe was quick to respond and extremely helpful both ahead of and during our stay. The house offered us plenty of space, was convenient for our office and we enjoyed a lovely team BBQ on our second night. The first night we ate out at a restaurant recommendation from Philippe and it was delicious! A flexible and helpful host, large comfortable house with pleasant outside space in a quiet neighbourhood. Just what we needed.

The house is very big, decorated with great taste and style, the surrounding is very quiet and relaxing, the location is very good, 10 minutes walk to the train station, you can go directly to Brussels centre. This house is absolutely worth it! The water pressure in the bathroom is sufficient, the kitchen space is large, in short! Super good!
