Atmospheric and spacious farmhouse Friesland

Our beautifully rebuilt farmhouse is located in Sondel, the first village behind Lemmer, even before Balk in Gaasterland, southwest Friesland. A lovely place for a family weekend or a weekend with friends. There is a spacious well-equipped kitchen to cook with each other, a large dining table, space garden, an outdoor BBQ (on gas). The Gaasterland is well known for its forests and lakes for walking, cycling, sailing and horseback riding. There are also several golf courses in the nearby area.

Directly on the Fluessen - still space in July

Our house on the Koggeplaet in Elahuizen has a beautiful unobstructed view over de Fluessen, with a lake terrace. Also there is a terrace on the harbor and a sheltered seating area! Our house is in the middle of the water sports area of Friesland. A beautiful place for boating, swimming, cycling, hiking or skating! And a golf course and the forest are also nearby! From July 4th to September 5th, we rent our house weekly (or several weeks). Arrival and departure day is Friday.

Beautiful apartment in dorpsstraat Langweer!

The apartment is located in the middle of the bustling village street of Langweer on the first floor above our design studio. It features a spacious living room with a luxurious kitchen (and island), two fine bedrooms with private bathroom. The entire apartment is decorated with tasteful furniture adjoining our design style. Many nice sights are steps away: the harbor is around the corner, nice restaurants, beautiful villages, beautiful nature, cities, shops and culture.

The apartment is located in a very idyllic, quiet place in the beautiful Frisian Landscape near the IJsselmeer. Originally, the loft was a cooking studio, where delicious dishes were cooked. These new (2023) thatched villas of Wetterhaghe have a beautiful unobstructed view over the Poelen, the Weisleat, in the middle of the Frisian lakes area. The sustainable villas have their own jetty with possibly a beautiful 8-person electrosloep! The sloop is available between April 1 and November 1. Just sail to the village for a drink or in the morning to the bakery for fresh sandwiches. But also a day trip over the Frisian lakes is a quiet sensation!

Studio Bosk is gelegen midden in de bossen van Gaasterland, dichtbij de kliffen en stranden van het IJsselmeer en nabij de Friese meren. Ons onlangs gerenoveerde boshuisje biedt alles voor een prettig verblijf midden in de natuur, en is van alle moderne gemakken voorzien. Voor kinderen is er veel speelgoed (houten trein, boekjes, spelletjes, auto's), fietsjes, een kinderstoel en een ledikant aanwezig. In de tuin hebben we een zandbak met speelgoed.

Ons boshuisje is 70 m2 en ligt in een bosparkje met 40 huisjes en vlakbij het IJsselmeer, een bosmeer en golfbaan. Er zijn veel gezinsvriendelijke activiteiten in de buurt. Het huisje is efficient ingedeeld en modern ingericht. De tuin is bijna 1000m2 en heeft een grote picnictafel, trampoline, schommel en speelhuisje. Er zijn fietsen aanwezig voor volwassenen en (jonge) kinderen. Geen verhuur aan groepen. Max 1 gezin, max 4 personen, geen honden.

Authentic Bakhuisje

We stayed here with New Year's Eve to avoid the noise from the Randstad for our dog and puppy. Not completely quiet but in relation to home: perfect. Dog was restless for 10 minutes around midnight and otherwise just relaxed. Cottage is brand new with very comfortable sofa, comfortable beds and kitchen with all the trimmings. The only downside was that the water heater did not have enough water for the bath to fill completely with hot water (even without showering on that day) but that is a detail. We were very unlucky with the weather but I can imagine it will be beautiful here in spring or summer!

The house and the town are both beautiful. The house is cozy and very well maintained. A crate of outdoor toys, all of which are fresh and whole. A fantastic foosball and Donald Ducks in the children's bedroom. The kitchen is nice and complete, BBQ in the garden, great WiFi. And you can enjoy watching the hustle and bustle in the harbor from the house, if you are not on a boat yourself. Bauke and Claudia are friendly and helpful if you have any questions.

This is a great place to get away for a weekend. Everything in Woudsend is within walking distance (supermarket, restaurants, harbor, bus stop, etc) and the area is beautiful. The garden is just as beautiful as in the pictures! The bedstee certainly adds something, but perhaps a tip: the doors of the bedstee have windows. So if you can't stand light well when you sleep, consider bringing a sleeping mask. We greatly enjoyed our weekend and would love to come back.

We had a wonderful time at this lovingly furnished vacation home. Everything was very clean and designed with a lot of love for detail – you immediately felt comfortable. The large, well-kept garden was a highlight, especially for children. The environment is quiet, child-friendly and perfect for relaxing. The hostess was extremely nice, always available and made our stay very pleasant through the uncomplicated and flexible check-in and check-out. We will be happy to come back!

We had a lovely stay in the Rietgans! Could have sat and listened to the birds in the evenings for hours, very nice quiet place in a lovely location. Check in with Gerrit was great!
