spacious 1900's mansard Victorian. Bright cheerie & centrally located if you're looking for a pad in Cambridge/Somerville. A 10-12minute walk to Harvard Square & close to the Red Line. Great kitchen, living room & /cablewifi. Three bedrooms--one with a European Queen Bed, one double bed & one single. There is one full bathroom w/a large glass shower & a claw foot tub. There is a half bath on the first floor. There is a front porch to sit & sip wine on & a back deck where you can grill & eat out on. I've been living here 12 years--Its tastefully appointed, eclectic finds & a mid century modern touch--absolutely the best equipted kitchen. I've been a chef in Boston & Cambridge for quite some time!

This spot is lovely. It is an apartment inside of a really nice apartment building. Check-in is facilitated by a lockbox where you get your key fob, which gives you access to the building and the apartment itself. Some of the communication felt a bit weird (we were asked not to wait in the lobby until check-in time to maintain a "homey feel," which is bizarre because I would think that hanging out in the lobby PROMOTES a "homey feel." The kitchen is well stocked with equipment (plates, cutlery, toaster, coffee maker, etc) but nothing to cook with (spices, salt, pepper, oil). Parking is included and there are (paid) electric chargers in the parking garage, which is really great if you have an electric car. The price is definitely on the expensive side.

Randy and Jean were indeed super, super hosts. Just as I was checking in, Randy arrived with a grocery bag full of goodies: blueberries, English muffins, eggs, half & half. Jean delivered chocolates and Madeleine's. The apartment was immaculate, bright and sunny. and the central air conditioning was much appreciated in the 93° weather we had. It would be hard to find a nicer and more thoughtful set of hosts.

A well-lit bathroom features a shower and tub combination with a green and blue striped curtain. A modern sink is positioned next to a full-length mirror. Towels are neatly arranged on a nearby shelf, while a woven mat lies on the floor.

We had a fantastic stay. The stairs were a little rough because we had a baby, but we were prepared for them. Very clean and the hosts were very responsive. The hot water went out while we were there and they fixed the issue extremely fast. Overall, a great place to stay!!

Very nice apartment with all amenities that are necessary for a long stay. I stayed for a month. The house is fully equipped. There are washing machine and dryer which are really helpful. The neighborhood is nice and quiet. Easy access to bus station and metro.There are many nice restaurants in the neighborhood of Somerville. Hamed, the host answered all my questions immediately and whenever there was a problem with the electric appliances he was always available to solve it. I would recommend this apartment definitely for long stay in Boston.
