It's a 200sqft Cabin in the middle of a 20 acre Pasture with views of the Slick Hills and Mt Scott.Minutes from lake Lawtonka and Medicine Park. Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. Amenities include Wifi (great for streaming but not great for zoom) tv- DVD player- indoor fireplace- outdoor space (bring outdoor chairs) full kitchen w all basic kitchen needs(coffee maker, pots, pans, silverware, plates and cups, washer/dryer) and a private gate entrance. Great views and lots of wild life around house. Wichita Mtn. Wildlife Refuge and Medicine Park is a short drive away. Pets allowed- no pets on furniture.

The Saving the Longhorn Cabin portrays the story of how the Texas Longhorns were brought to the Wichita Mountains in 1927 in an effort to save them from extinction. The late Earl Drummond, Forest Ranger and Cache resident, played a vital role in selecting these magnificent bovine. Nestled at the foothills of the Wichita Mountains, The Lazy Buffalo has 13 themed cabins each decorated uniquely to capture the essence of the Wichita Mountains and history of our hometown.

The Cooperton Bank a unique historical property

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway located near the beautiful Wichita Mountains. This beautifully restored cobblestone structure originally housed The Bank of Cooperton. The original tin ceiling and tin shingled roof have been restored. The vault now serves as a spacious bathroom with a vintage vault door. Original slate from the teller counter and early 1900’s teller cage has been used in the decor as well as maintaining the original colors on the walls.

This suite is ADA friendly with an oversized shower and close designated parking. The Cardinal shares a deck with the Bluebird and does NOT have a round window.
