Hometown Hideaway

Enjoy your visit in the cheery and bright basement of my home where you have a private entrance, separate parking, full kitchen area, access to a quiet patio area that has been newly added, gas grill available and lots of greenery and woods in the backyard. I am one mile to the beautiful town area where you can enjoy our riverwalk, access restaurants, shopping is convenient as well. If your a Penn State fan I am 46 minutes away ( 41 miles). I prefer shorter stays up to 30 days. Thanks Sher

Close to Rails to Trails for hiking or biking. Also near the Little Juniata River for trout fishing(regulated as All Tackle Catch and Release). We also border State Game Lands. 32" tv and 250 channels SUV or 4 wheel drive is recommended for winter. Please use Google GPS and check in instructions.

Our Cottage was originally the Barber shop here in Warriors Mark. It was eventually converted into an efficiency apartment. I completely renovated the Cottage over the summer of 2024. The space is very comfortable and inviting with everything you need to make your stay enjoyable. The space is perfect for a couple. The loveseat easily converts to a full size bed 51x72 inches. It is comfortable for one adult or 2 children.

Very cute place in a nice neighborhood. She responds fast, the apartment was clean, tastefully decorated, and the other tenants in the building were respectful and quiet. Definitely recommend and will be rebooking when I’m back in town!

Absolutely beautiful home with all the amenities one could need. Kassi left us restaurant menus and attraction brochures which was not only extremely thoughtful, but kind of saved our butts when we arrived hungry in the evening.

A rustic living area features a sectional sofa, a spiral staircase leading to an upper level, and a stone accent wall. Natural light enters through the window, illuminating the soft area rug and the cozy atmosphere created by the wooden ceiling and flooring.

Secluded Cabin w/ On-Site Creek + Trails!

We were looking for a cozy, private, serene spot to rest and recharge after busy days of visiting family while in town for the holidays. We hit the "zen" lottery with this beautiful, cozy, warm cabin in such a beautiful natural area. The warmth (physical and soul) of the cabin with its heated floors (genius!), huge inviting tub for soaking, and soothing & convenient remote controlled fireplace perfectly complimented the wooded, snowy surroundings with the babbling brook just outside. We had everything we needed and couldn't have felt better cared for staying with our own family! We just left yesterday but already miss that cozy mountain hideaway!

The home was clean and in a nice quiet neighborhood. The hosts were very friendly and responsive. It had everything you would need for a pleasant stay. The location was perfect for access to Black Moshannon and Quehanna Wilds and countless other outdoor activities. Would recommend a stay.
