Kihachikan South Nozawa Onsen

Kihachikan South is a luxurious and homely family chalet. It has three bedrooms; one double, one twin and one smaller single room. The light filled, open plan kitchen and living room features a locally made oak kitchen that includes a Miele oven and induction hob and Miele dishwasher. The kitchen is fully supplied with all the main amenities including; a rice cooker, toaster, microwave, coffee machine and full cooking utensils should they be required. The comfy sofa seating area focusses around a cast iron pellet stove and the latest Bang & Olufsen television and sound system including live feed from the ski hills and Netflix. The daily readings from the traditional barograph will keep you ahead of the weather apps …….. possibly! The bedrooms maintain a traditional feel with shoji windows, wooden beams and authentic wall coverings with the addition of discreet blinds, wooden flooring and western style beds. The bedroom wardrobes in Japanese oak were made to order in Nagano. The bathrooms include walk in showers with locally made hinoki shower benches. The upstairs bathroom with both slate and wooden flooring also contains a separate seating area and large bath tub. The upstairs bathroom enjoys great views over to Togari and Mount Myoko. Dyson hair dryers are supplied in the two main bedrooms. The artwork throughout the Kihachikan South is a mixture of original Japanese woodblock prints and an extensive collection of original 16th & 17th century antique maps of Asia. Kihachikan South has a Miele washing machine and separate Miele clothes dryer.The ski, board and boot room is downstairs and shared with Kihachikan North and contains snow shoes for guest use (when available).

We have a shower room available this season! You can relax even with small children! You can enter whenever you want! Located in the center, you can go to the slopes, hot springs, and restaurants without a car. Recommended for families, friends, and groups as it is a private rental. We renovated a traditional house in Nozawa Onsen Village, and I think you can feel comfort and timelessness while emphasizing simplicity and functionality. The house has a drying room in the basement, a guest room on the 1st and 2nd floors, and a kitchen, living room, and bedroom. Baths, outdoor baths, and hot spring facilities are also within walking distance. There is also a shower room in the house. There is a kitchen so you can cook, and there are many restaurants so you can enjoy delicious food. 2-minute walk to the bus stop to the slopes 5-minute walk to the nearby slopes Parking for one car is available

Old fashioned cosy house has 3 bedroom sleeps up to 5 or 6 ideally located in the gateway of the Shiga Kogen National park. The private house enjoys ample parking and stunning panoramic views of open farmland and the mountains range. You can spend a cool summer away from the hot and humid Japan. Gorgeous hiking routes in Shiga Kogen are 30 minutes drive beyond, which Suzie will suggest the best route for you. 30 mins walkaway to Snow mokey park, 10 mins away to best Onsen(Waku Waku no yu).

Five Peaks Ryuoo

Relax and enjoy the slow life in Nagano's mountainous countryside. In winter, go skiing - there are 15+ ski resorts within an hour, including Shiga Kogen, Nozawa, Madarao and Myoko. You can also snowshoe from the property. In summer, visit Ryuo SORA Terrace by riding one of the largest gondolas in the world. 7bedroom self-contained house "Taki no yu Lodge"

Quaint and unique Self contained mountain lodge in one of the best locations in Nozawa with breathe taking views across the valley and can ski back to the door. Not many lodges in Nozawa of this size and this price range, especially of this standard and location. Total 7 Bedrooms in the lodge and a great open living, dining and kitchen area to relax in at the end of a hard day on the slopes. Just recently renovated with everything you need for the perfect stay in Nozawa Onsen.
