Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Seeland District

We loved this place so much! Beautiful house (perfect size for 2 people) and garden. The surrounding area is just wonderful! It gets very quiet at times and very dark at night, it took me personally 1-2 days to adjust. Getting there was a bit difficult since we had to rely on public transport. We took the funicular up to Macolin and then used a taxi service based in Biel to take us to the house (80 CHF). From Macolin we think it is most advisable to take the road / path called "Prés de Macolin Derrière". If you were to walk it would probably take you 1h+. The hosts were very responsive which was greatly appreciated.

We had a wonderful one night stay at the home. 3 spacious bedrooms and two bathrooms made the stay very comfortable. Living feels very cozy and the outdoor space is very nice. Perfect for a visit to Bern which is less than 10 minutes away.

Caroles Häuschen liegt wunderbar im Grünen, wir haben uns in der ruhigen Gegend wunderbar entspannt. Die Ausstattung ist tiptop, es ist alles da, was man braucht.

Endroit paisible, on a passé un agréable séjour chez Bernard, je recommande vivement.

Wir haben eine Woche Ferien im schönen, grossen und sehr gemütlichen Holzhaus verbringen dürfen. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Das Haus ist sehr liebevoll eingerichtet und lässt keine Wünsche offen. Die umliegende Natur mit den vielen Tieren ist spektakulär und man kann direkt loswandern und auf Entdeckungstour gehen. Unsere Gastgeber sind sehr zuvorkommend und symphatisch! Wir kommen gerne wieder :-))

Wir waren als Familie zu Besuch. Alle haben sich direkt heimelig-Wohl gefühlt. Die Gastgeberin wart stets freundlich, flexibel und proaktiv. Die Unterkunft hat super Charme. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Wir haben die Zeit bei Céline sehr genossen. Das Haus ist sehr schön und die Umgebung eignet sich gut für Tagesausflüge. Das Seebad in Erlach ist sehr zu empfehlen.

This is a really unique house. Everything you could need is provided and the place was very clean. It was cold outside, but the house was very comfortable throughout with its heated floors. Don't hesitate to pick this house if it's available.

Very big beautiful and cozy flat in Magglingen. Amazing view over Biel and the mountains from most of the rooms. We love it and will be back.

Es hat uns gut gefallen. Es war sehr ruhig und wir hatten Privatsphäre. Das Bett war sehr bequem. Der Ofen und der Whirlpool haben alles abgerundet. Als Ergänzung wäre ein kleiner Mini Backofen oder ähnliches gut gewesen. Ansonsten sehr gemütlich und einfach gehalten. 👍

Küchenausstattung eher spartanisch.

Die liebevolle und mit gutem Geschmack eingerichtete Wohnung, liegt in einem kleinen,ruhigen Ort der zum Wandern und Relaxen einlädt. Die Unterkunft ist über gut ausgebaute Straßen zu erreichen . Mit dem Auto ist man schnell in den umliegenden Städten . Tina und Matthias begrüßten uns bei Ankunft so herzlich , das man sich sofort wohl bei Ihnen gefühlt hat. Werden diese Zeit nicht so schnell vergessen und freuen uns auf ein Wiedersehen.

Wir haben uns bei Rudolf sehr wohl gefühlt. Es hat an nichts gefehlt. Er bot uns sogar an den Ofen einzuheizen. Es gab ein Willkommensdrink und eine sehr freundliche Einführung in die Wohnung. Obwohl wir erst recht spät am Abend ankamen war es kein Problem für ihn. Ein toller Mensch und super Gastgeber. Gerne wieder:-)

Wow! What a beautiful place to stay - we’re already missing the views! There is lots to see and visit in the surrounding areas and it’s 10 minutes from the motorway if you’re looking to travel further afield. Susanne was a brilliant host, very attentive, extremely helpful and quick to respond to any questions. We would love to come back!

Such a beautiful place in an equally beautiful location. For those who wish to experience the Swiss country side and yet be fairly close enough to cover all the main attractions of the region, look no further. Stayed 5 nights with my family with 2 kids, and everyday was memorable. The house layout is made for the view, and it’s simply unforgettable.. all the basics are in place and more, no complaints there whatsoever.. in fact one would be pleasantly surprised coming here, for the photos just cannot do justice to what one feels here.. keywords: spacious, comfortable, magical, and beautiful. the hosts and manager were wonderful too.. always ready to help with whatever u need may it be home related or otherwise.. thank you for the amazing experience.. I would highly recommend this place for anyone who wishes to come back to a serene Swiss paradise at the end of a long day of travel, tourists, and attractions..

Wir haben den Aufenthalt genossen, obwohl das Wetter nicht so beständig war. Man fühlte sich auch bei Sturm und Regen behaglich, nicht zuletzt wegen des Cheminee. Sehr hilfsbereite Gastgeber, das zeigte sich besonders an der ersten Hilfe bei einer kleinen Brandverletzung.

Amazing host, friendly and responsive. Nested in a quiet, safe neighborhood, the house was impressively clean (especially considering its size). Lots of amenities, washer/dryer, pool table, backyard patio, etc. with understandable quirks for a ~100 yr house. The host even lent us 4 bicycles to get around town. Would definitely stay here again next time we’re in Bern. Note, there’s a bus stop really close by that usually runs every 10 minutes which takes you into city center. Grocery store and restaurants also within a short bike ride or perhaps a 15-20 minutes walk.

Vinzenz war stets erreichbar und hat schnell auf Nachrichten reagiert. Wir hatten ein Problem mit der Heizung, am nächsten Tag wurde dies umgehend erledigt. Wir empfehlen diese Unterkunft gerne weiter.

“Amazing stay! Highly recommend!” Me and my friends had an amazing experience staying at this Airbnb. Jonalyn is incredibly welcoming and provided everything we needed for a comfortable stay. She was always very helpful and available all the time. She responded immediately. The property was exactly as described— very clean, cozy, and beautifully decorated. The beds are comfortable and Jonalyn provided towels & sheets for everybody. The kitchen was incredibly well equipped with all facilities you can imagine - better than my kitchen at home. The giant whirlpool was an absolute highlight together with the chimney. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting the area. Thank you for such a wonderful experience!
