Valentina’s “La Casina di Vale” is the ideal spot in Portoferraio. It is located a few minute walk to the ferry, beach, buses, downtown, and the Portoferraio forts. It’s clean and comfortable, has AC (important during the summer), AND laundry. No wifi, but it’s not an issue if you plan ahead. Highly recommend if you are looking for an island getaway!

It was so perfect in all aspects of what I consider to be the best, the most beautiful vacation time inside the home and with the beautiful outside surroundings that I plan to come back. The quiet location with a stunning Sea-and-Mountain-Views from every room in this spacious, tastefully furnished apartment was extraordinary. Donatella communicated very promptly to any thing in writing and her daughter-in law and her son responded by delivering whatever needed to be done. I am also extremely grateful that I was picked up and taken back to the ferry. I have fallen in love with Portoferraio and “my vacation home”, especially the quiet, calming views, the best snorkeling beach in less than a 10 minute walk, my favorite Gelato place, and the amazing walk along the medieval wall up to the historic old town with sites and great restaurants. I did not rent a car, but I would next time because there are other diverse nature places worth exploring. Gracie mille!!! Until I will see you again!

Ottima casa vacanza, completa di tutti i comfort. Gilberto, il proprietario, una persona davvero gentile pro attivo nel rispondere subito offrendo sempre la massima disponibilità come ad esempio avevamo chiesto per ragioni di spostamenti il checkout posticipato e la richiesta è stata esaudita. Casa molto pulita, bagno con doccia spaziosa e letti molto comodi. Appartamento super consigliato.

Eine charmante Unterkunft über zwei Etagen, die ruhig gelegen in der Nähe des Yachthafens und 15 Minuten zu Fuß vom Fährenhafen und dem Busbahnhof liegt. Unweit ist eine kleine Bäckerei, die wir sehr empfehlen können. Der nächste Supermarkt ist beim Busbahnhof, das sollte man bei Ausflügen dann logistisch verbinden, geht aber allen Wohnungen, die im Stadtkern liegen, so:) Linda ist sehr verlässlich, hilfsbereit und freundlich, wir konnten alles einfach per App oder Messenger klären.

Wunderschöne Lage in der Altstadt. Die Wohnung liegt in einer gemütlichen Seitengasse. Man kann abends sehr schön draußen sitzen und den Charme genießen. Die Wohnung ist relativ klein aber völlig ausreichend. Die Umgebung lädt zum draußen sein ein.
