The resort for nature lovers is located in the middle of the Southern Black Forest Biosphere Reserve. Above the cloud sea of the Rhine plain stands our beautiful forest house. Start your hikes right outside the door on the Westweg, or mountain bike tour through the Black Forest. Take the S-Bahn (8 min by car) in 30min. To Basel, France is 45 minutes away, Freiburg an hour. Feldberg is 45 minutes away. The Schweigmatt swimming pool is a club pool. You can purchase 4 uses for 20 euros.

Close to nature & stylish living in the old farmhouse

The apartment is in the small district of Karsau, which belongs to Rheinfelden (Baden). In an almost 200-year-old farmhouse overlooking our farm animals (horses/sheep/cat/dog/chickens) you can relax wonderfully. Basel can be reached in 20 minutes by car/train. Beuggen train station is within walking distance (1.5 km). Right next door is a children's playground and the forest with beautiful walking and cycling trails is a few minutes' walk away. Our compact, tastefully furnished apartment can accommodate one person and combines rustic charm with modern comfort. On approx. 31 m² you will find a living room, dining area, bedroom and a fully equipped kitchen in one room. The apartment is ideally located in the old town, within walking distance of historic sights and restaurants. Enjoy the beauty of nature and easily reach cities such as Freiburg, Basel and Zurich. The Alte Tischlerei is an individual apartment (approx. 70 square meters of living space) for nature lovers, individualists, cooking enthusiasts, dog lovers or... It is equipped with a built-in kitchen, 80 cm induction range, convection oven and steam cooker, fridge/freezer and bathroom with very large shower and separate toilet. The area is open plan, so there is no enclosed bedroom. Outside there is a private garden with seating, barbecue and fencing.

Pfaffenberg is a small village at 700 meters above sea level above the Wiesental valley with proximity to Switzerland and France. Our Black Forest house with a south-facing location offers up to five guests a cozy stay. The border triangle enables a variety of cultural and sports leisure activities. I have traveled a lot myself, speak good German, English, French, Spanish and a little Italian and am always very happy about guests from near and far.

Alte Färberei Entire place

The old dye works, a factory from the 19th century. century, was expanded for mixed use. In addition to apartments, workshops and a doctor's office, guest rooms were created under the shed roofs of the factory halls. It was important to us to give the old building fabric a new use and to make it tangible. We were able to completely preserve the building shell and reuse renewed components in a different context. New components were left natural.

Welcome to our charming top floor apartment with balcony! The lovingly renovated, listed former barn can accommodate 9-10 people. Each room has its own sink. A seminar room (last photos) can be booked on request (information at Eutopia Schopfheim). The train stop "Schlattholz Schopfheim" is just 5 minutes away. Basel (35 min) and Freiburg (60 min) are within easy reach and offer great destinations. An elevator is available.

Cozy, private studio with private entrance, kitchen / dining area, bathroom and bedroom with a double bed. The house is located in the countryside with a view of Zell im Wiesental. Until there is no 5 minute walk. Zell lies at 426 m and is framed by hills and mountains to over 1000 m altitude. It is a small town with good shopping and good connection to bus and train. You can borrow a bicycle for small tours for 5€ / day
