You can prepare breakfast yourself in the kitchen. Please note: the garden is currently being renovated. This does not affect the interior spaces.

Especially in the morning when the sun rises over the meadow and you sit in the conservatory with a coffee – an unforgettable moment! Here you can enjoy heavenly tranquility in a natural environment.

3 km away from Hardenberg in the beautiful hamlet "Engeland" is for rent on private property: Het Bakhuus, for B&B and short vacations. Hardenberg is located in the natural Vechtdal of Overijssel and has a lot to offer. Our B&B offers you a spacious apartment (45m2), lockable, on the 1st floor with private entrance. This makes contactless stays possible. Kitchen with 2-burner stove, oven, microwave, fridge, coffee maker and kettle. Through the landing, you enter your own bathroom with sinks, shower and toilet. The private entrance is on the ground floor. If you come with 3 or 4 persons, there is a second living/bedroom in the apartment available (25 m2 extra) Pets are allowed only after consultation.

Our completely refurbished bakery is located in one of the quietest places in the Netherlands. From the yard, walk into the endless German forests or explore the area by bicycle. Beautiful places such as Ootmarsum, Hardenberg and Gramsbergen are close by, but there is also plenty to see across the border. The kitchen is fully furnished and the private terrace has a comfortable seating area, barbecue, sunbeds and parasol. A luxury breakfast is available on request for €20 per person.

Mansion complete upper house (for groups)

(8-16 people) This detached mansion from 1935 is located in the center of Emmen, just a few minutes' walk from nightlife, train station, forest, Wildlands and the Rensenpark. There is ample (free!) parking. The entire upper house is more than half of this Villa with its own kitchen, living room, bathrooms, toilets and nice garden. The minimum booking is 8 people 2 nights. Peace and quiet in the nature of Drenthe and the time to get some rest. That's what you're experiencing in our guesthouse. In our garden, next to our family, you will not encounter anyone else one day. Lots of sound from the birds and in the evening a beautiful starry sky in clear weather. In short, the ultimate place to retreat to. Please note that from January 1, the organic breakfast is not included. This way, the stay remains affordable despite the VAT increase.

This memorable space is anything but ordinary. Beach House Schoonebeek gives your stay a truly special vibe! Among other things, Netflix is available on a large 140 cm TV. The fridge is stocked with tasty drinks, and the bar table is perfect for enjoying a drink or getting some work done. Rituals shower products are available in the bathroom. Private sauna available to book for €20 – cool off under the garden shower. Bathrobes and towels are provided.

Unwind at this serene, secluded escape. Our Steel House, elevated on stilts, offers privacy and a rare connection with nature. Relax in the sauna for a peaceful retreat. At its highest point over the water, a sitting area with a 360º wood stove keeps you cozy. Enjoy movie nights with a beamer and speaker for extra entertainment. Outside, a spacious wooden deck with a sun lounger, outdoor dining table, BBQ, pizza oven, and a stunning lake view awaits.

My vacation home is located in the county of Bentheim between canal, meadows and forest on the edge of a small village in the immediate vicinity of the Dutch border. The Lower County is known for well-developed bike paths: Along canals, rivers, moorlands and small villages, our border region can best be discovered by bike.
