House vacation rentals in Savanne District

I have a lot of wonderful things to say but not enough characters in the limit so forgive the bullet points. 1) Susanna is a great host and flexible. 2) Claudine and Naajine are excellent staff at the villa, knowledgeable, friendly, professional and you have to try their cooking! They made it feel like we were staying in a hotel. 3) The villa is more like multiple villas in a small complex. It has a boutique hotel feel without having to share and the ladies keep it fresh. Our group of 10 was easily accommodated and plenty of dishes etc. 4) The 2 golf carts make getting around the So Sofitel resort easy. Snorkel at around high tide, you can still stand up if the tides are pulling on you. It’s a great starter location if you’ve never tried it before. If you choose a massage we recommend you ask for Crystal as it was a bit hit or miss. 5) Recommend getting a hire car as it’s a bit isolated although there were many taxis in the next village. It was a big deal,that apartments were free on our travel dates. First, apartments were fantastic, very clean, disigned with love and they had a great locality and beautiful view from a room. We relaxed on the beach and sometimes near the swimming pool. We used electrocar to travel around the nearby territories, enjoying the nature. second, we've got feeling that friends invited us to this place, they were kind and mindful. They tried to please us in their service. Tasty meals were offered. It was a great satisfaction not only to eat, but watch on them, because they were in many ways artist's masterpiece.

We had an incredible time at this villa! The property is bright and airy with spacious and comfortable bedrooms. The place was spotless, well-equipped, and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The location was fantastic, offering peaceful surroundings with breathtaking views, yet still close enough to the beaches, local attractions and amenities. The outdoor spaces were perfect for enjoying the sunshine, with a cosy pool and seating areas. The host was extremely welcoming and responsive, making the check-in process smooth as well as ensuring we had everything we needed throughout our stay. They even provided some home-made French macarons and great local recommendations! I highly recommend this villa for anyone looking for a nice and peaceful getaway!

Dominique was a consummate host. He was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and accommodating, and very quick with responses to questions mid-trip. The villa itself was fantastic - as good as if not better than the pictures. It has a lovely private feel, is silent and peaceful, a brilliant pool and is well cared for by the wonderful maid Roshni on a daily basis. Couldn’t recommend more - 10/10.

Большая территория. Вилла скорее не трёхкомнатная, а трёх квартирная. Два больших холодильника. Хороший интернет. В первые дни Кристель поспособствовала решению всех основных замечаний. Не помешало бы приобрести зонты, чтобы во время дождя ходить из одного помещения в другое. Бассейн классный, глубина от полуметра до 1.70м. Если заезжаете на долгий срок, просите его чистку чаще. До океана метров 200, можно пройтись или доехать на личном багги. Расположение отличное, всё самое интересное в этой части острова. Утром можно заменить интересных животных )

Bel Ombré Ocean View Villa matched our expectations, it indeed has a spectacular ocean view and the beach is within walking distance. The house has all the amenities one needs to feel very comfortable. Everything was functional including the swimming pool The neighborhood is very safe, quiet and quite close to big supermarkets. We would love to come back and Jerry is an amazing host 🙏🙏🙏⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Nice and comfortable house with a pool. Everything was clean and tidy. Only weird thing was the cleaning woman, to whom we had to open the door and cleaned the rooms while we were on our third out of five days at the house. She was very uncomfortable with us being around which I can understand. Cleaning lady was very friendly but overall an avoidable, uncomfortable situation.

Lovely villa with a nice pool, lush garden & direct access to the very long beach. Our kids loved feeding the giant tortoises, which live just behind the villa. Owners live nearby and are very nice - they brought us fresh home-growth mangoes. The place is peaceful, quiet, safe, private and virtually mosquito-free (we could peacefully chill in the terrace in late evenings). We especially enjoyed long evening walks along the beach stretching miles to both directions - it is very safe, hence we have also walked in the night counting stars. The "KOA" restaurant is withing the walking distance (along the ocean), while there are other restaurants & shops within the few minutes drive. The Black River National Park is in close proximity with its multiple hiking trails, lush forest & fascinating water falls. We really enjoyed our stay in this place and would definitely like to come back in the near future.

Vielen Dank für den tollen Aufenthalt in deinem Haus. Uns hat es super gefallen! Die Lage ist nicht zu toppen! Tolle Aussicht auf den indischen Ozean. Auch ein privater kleiner Strand gehört zum Haus. Pool wurde täglich gereinigt wie auch das Haus. Sehr freundlicher Empfang durch Davina. Welche uns auch während dem Aufenthalt immer zur Verfügung stand bei Fragen. Sie hat immer sehr schnell geantwortet. Auch der Wächter des Anwesens war sehr hilfsbereit und ging mit uns am ersten Tag mit dem Auto einkaufen. Wir hatten kein eigenes Auto wurden aber durch den Nazim und seinen Fahrern super betreut. Hatten während unseres Aufenthaltes schlussendlich immer den gleichen Taxifahrer (Nawfar) den wir sehr empfehlen können. Die Ausflüge mit ihm waren super! Er zeigte uns viele schöne Orte und war den ganzen Tag für uns verfügbar wenn wir uns dies wünschten. Somit ist auch kein Muss ein eigenes Auto zu haben. Ein lokaler Supermarkt ist auch sehr gut zu Fuss erreichbar.

Séjour authentique au cœur de la vie Mauricienne. Appartement propre et spacieux avec grand balcon donnant sur une petite rue animée. Équipement minimaliste mais suffisant pour un petit séjour. L'accueil par les parents d'Amit est sympathique.

This property is an absolute gem! We’ve just returned from our first holiday to Mauritius, and had the most amazing time. The house was spacious and well equipped, the beds were comfortable in air conditioned bedrooms, and the views to die for. Our children spent countless hours in the pool and loved the beach which was directly accessed from the bottom of the garden. There was parking for our car and the house was very secure with electric gates to the front. There was a useful shop close to the house and all the facilities you could require in the next town. The south of the island is beautiful, and has so many attractions to keep everyone entertained. Dominique was the perfect host, always available when needed . Jean Noel, the maintenance guy was amazing and was very friendly to our children, picking and opening coconuts from the trees in the garden and giving lessons in Mauritian life. I’ve never been so sad to leave at the end of a holiday, and we are already planning our return!

La villa est très bien entretenue grâce à Amrita. Facile d’accès, sécurisée et très bien équipée. La plage de Riambel est accessible depuis le jardin. Marie nous envoie les informations concernant la villa en amont du voyage et nous donne le contact de Amrita qui est sur place. C’est elle qui nous attend à l’arrivée pour nous présenter le logement qu’elle entretien tous les jours pendant le séjour ! Amrita est adorable, elle reste également disponible à toute heure pour toute question sur la villa ou recommandation sur l’île. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour de 15 jours et n’hésiterons pas à recommander cette villa à notre entourage ! Merci encore pour l’accueil, tout était parfait ! :)

This wasn’t our first time staying here, and once again everything was wonderful. The host is always incredibly welcoming and makes us feel right at home. As always, it was an excellent stay – we truly enjoy coming back!

My family and I had a fantastic two-night stay at Zaheer’s place, and it was worth every penny! Zaheer is an incredibly friendly and accommodating host, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The location is perfect—steps away from an almost private beach, with tons of restaurants nearby and exciting spots like Rochester Falls to explore. The outdoor jacuzzi was a delightful bonus, perfect for unwinding after busy days filled with activities. The house itself is comfortable, ideal for relaxing after hours spent outdoors. With so much to do in the area, we couldn’t have asked for a better stay. Highly recommend!

We had a fantastic stay at the villa in Mauritius! It was exactly as described in the photos—peaceful and private, perfect for our family and friends getaway.
