Our stay was perfect. The location couldn’t have been better. Peaceful. Nice to be out of downtown Ponta Delgada- but convenient enough to get to and enjoy the Festival and the city when we wanted to. The house is strategically located on the south shore and perfectly located to drive to the island’s sites. A couple very nice restaurants are within easy walking distance. The ocean pools are right across the street. We enjoyed whale watching, hiking and traversing the Island, seeing all the sites. Ludovic was a txt away and helped out whenever we needed! Our 8 day stay went by so quickly, but it was wonderful.

Belle maison tranquille avec une vue splendide sur l’océan. Une voiture est requise pour se déplacer mais c’est l’emplacement parfait pour se ressourcer au calme pour quelques jours.

We had a great stay at Home Sweet Home during our trip to Sao Miguel! The house was clean and well kept. Our family of four, including 2 teenagers had plenty of space and all of the amenities worked well for us. It is in a great location on the island. It’s is pretty central so easy to drive to sites in either direction.

“Compact” apartment but it has everything one needs and is very comfortable. Well equipped kitchen, very comfortable bed, excellent Internet connection! Beautiful view of the city (south and east). The hosts were reactive and a pleasure to deal with. The apartment is in a quiet neighbourhood (and a quiet building) with a parking lot across the street. It is a walking distance to the city centre (shops and restaurants) and also to a larger shopping centre. I had a very pleasant stay.

Beautiful accommodation looking straight onto the sea with the mountains directly behind. So peaceful. Access to pebbled beach and large garden. Very accommodating and friendly. We loved it and would highly recommend !

The house was perfect! Extremely clean, comfortable, spacious, and very thoughtful to every single detail. The 2 terraces with views of the Islet were a highlight. Marius and Carlos were communicative and gave excellent recommendations of restaurants and activities. The house is well-located in walking distance to many places in town, and easy driving distance to all points of interest on Sao Miguel island. Highly recommended!

die Wohnung liegt direkt am Meer, man schläft mit dem Rauschen des Meeres ein und wacht auch mit Meeresrauschen auf. Das unter der Unterkunft Restaurants oder eine Bar war, hat uns nicht gestört. Die Wohnung war super sauber und wir wurden persönlich Empfangen und bekamen ein paar tolle Tipps für Ausflüge. Der Strand ist sehr Kinderfreundlich und von Lifeguards bewacht. Wir waren rundum zu Frieden und hatten einen wundervollen Aufenthalt bei Teresa. Vielen Dank für alles! Wir werden dich und deine Wohnung weiter empfehlen. Liebe Grüße Tim und Victoria

We arrived in Ribera Quente late after a flight delay, and followed José’s instructions on finding the place to the letter. Very clear instructions, we found the place easily and we were able to check in quietly and quickly. The rental was gorgeous, and much bigger than the photos suggest. A firm, and comfy bed; we easily installed the screen window provided and were lulled to sleep in minutes by the waves on the beach just below the Casa. The surrounding landscape and gardens are something out of a dream, so tranquil and beautiful, and expertly maintained. The infinity pool was a major highlight every afternoon, we could soak up some sun on the loungers around the pool and jump in to cool off, and just watch ships pass by in the distance. Amazing! José was exceptionally kind, it was wonderful to meet him, and we will definitely put his place on our list of favourites to return to.

Vi är nöjda med Marianas lägenhet! Mycket tack vare balkongen lyfter lägenheten, den är helt fantastisk! Stor och med fantastisk utsikt! Mysigt också att strand och vattenfall är på gångavstånd. Det kan vara bra för er att veta är att det endast finns ett sovrum (med dubbelsäng) så om ni är fler personer så sover några i en del av vardagsrummet, avskilt med draperi. Mariana har varit tillmötesgående och vänlig i all kontakt. Positivt har också varit hennes tips på vad att se och göra på San Miguel.

Absolutely perfect Airbnb in so many ways - clean, lots of amenities, great location. We had 5 days here on Sao Miguel Island and Maria's condo was perfect. She left us snacks, wine and other little treats. Maria is incredibly generous and has great attention to detail. We highly recommend staying here.

Très beau logement bien situé pour ceux qui aiment les endroits tranquilles et typiques. Pour nous, c’était parfait. Si vous aimez le café au lait, je vous recommande le Café central à deux minutes de marches du logement, juste aux abords du parc central.

Als Redakteurin für ein Wohn- und Architekturmagazin habe ich schon viele Ferienhäuser gesehen. Marios Haus gehört zu denen, in die man sich sofort verliebt. Die Sanierung ist sehr sorgfältig gemacht, und die Einrichtung wirkt modern, aber gleichzeitig warm und einladend. Drei separate Wohneinheiten bieten genug Privatsphäre, auch wenn man das Haus mit anderen Gästen teilt – was überhaupt nicht gestört hat. Die Ausstattung ist super, und der Pool sowie die Aussicht sind einfach traumhaft. Ich kann mir gut vorstellen, dass auch andere Reisende, die Wert auf Stil und Komfort legen, dieses Haus lieben werden. Alles in allem: Eine Reise wert!

The kids loved the pool, was quiet place, and lots of space. the beds were comfortable, the location was good. the view from the kitchen was fantastic.we loved that we had three showers and toilets.

The home is very beautiful and the pool area was pristine and idyllic! Sao Miguel weather is unpredictable so be mindful it may be too cold to use the pool. The closest restaurants are about 10 minutes away in Caloura. This area is extremely quiet so you will want to plan accordingly if you are looking for things to do!

The condo is beautiful and we enjoyed the deck and garden areas with the ocean view. The kitchen was well appointed and had what we needed for cooking and coffee. The beds were comfortable and I really liked the automatic shutters that blocked out light well for sleeping. The host was very easy to communicate with. Unfortunately the house next door is under construction and the noise was pretty loud starting at 8:30 am every day except Sunday. We spent most of the day time out of the house exploring but if there had been bad weather, the noise would have prevented us from relaxing/reading.

There was a moldy smell in the place so I recommend to open the screen door whenever you use the washroom or during the day but everything was 10/10. The place is easy to find, the neighbourhood is very peaceful, you’ll have a beautiful beach view and a very helpful host.

Toll! Die Maisonette Wohnung ist hochwertig, sauber und gut gelegen. Die Willkommens-Treats und die Mappe mit Infos sind eine tolle Idee. Ohne sie hätten wir die leckeren Queijadas vom Laden der Nähe nicht entdeckt. Auf beiden Etagen gibts jeweils ein schönes Bad mit Dusche und je ein TV und Schlafzimmer. Oben gibt's noch eine Couch und wenn man dort auf den Balkon geht und über die Mauer schaut, kann man die Baixo Insel sehen. Es gibt dort auch Balkonstühle und einen Tisch. Wäscheständer, etwas versteckt hinter einer Tür am Balkon, vorhanden. Da die Wohnung für zwei Personen eigentlich viel zu groß ist, haben wir uns auf der unteren Etage aufgehalten. Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet. In der Umgebung gibt's Restaurants und Supermärkte. Parkplatz an der Unterkunft abends eher nicht vorhanden. In der Nähe gibt es einen öffentlichen Parkplatz. Wir waren sehr überrascht von der Größe der Unterkunft. Für Familien und einen längeren Aufenthalt bestimmt gut geeignet. Vielen Dank für alle

Nous avons adoré notre court séjour chez Ana Paula. Elle est une hotesse accueillante et disponible en cas de besoin. Comme elle demeure sur place dans une autre section de la maison, nous l'avons croisée à quelques reprises et c'était agréable de discuter et de profiter de ses conseils. Elle nous permet de nous sentir chez nous dès l'arrivée. Le logement est parfait et coquet avec toutes les commodités. Les photos reflètent bien la réalité, mais c'était encore mieux en vrai :) Il y a une cour pour stationner l'auto. Un panier de produits locaux nous attendait à l'arrivée, nous avons apprécié l'attention. Nous recommandons l'endroit et avons adoré notre séjour!!

Beautiful view, enjoyed my coffee on the balcony in the mornings overlooking the ocean. Would not suggest this accommodation if someone in your party has difficulties with stairs. Was perfect for the 4 of us!

Amazing place, both the house and the nature around it. Within 200 m you have multiple miradouros and a very nice natural pool. We really enjoyed our stay and would 100% stay here again if we come back

This is an old, converted fisherman’s cottage (we think). It’s a beautiful place with access to sea swimming pools right out the back garden gate. Easy walking distance to Lagoa along a coastal path leading right to the most amazing set of sea swimming pools (plus proper pools). Local cafe/bar/restaurant right on the doorstep. Kitchen was great, bathrooms clean and showers lovely and warm and powerful. Living space upstairs was fab - cosy in the rain but also perfect with the terrace door open in the evening. We have two young adult girls and one of them wasn’t comfortable sleeping in the communal space next to the kitchen but we easily moved her bed into the small room so she could sleep next to her sister. The only downside was that it was difficult to get things dry when it rained. Everything stayed damp and ended up smelling musty. In the wet, humid conditions the cottage feels a little damp. Generally speaking though, this is a great place. Highly recommend.

Luis Miguel est un excellent hôte. Disponible et réactif aux questions. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans son logement. Logement agréable et calme avec vue sur mer. Je conseille vivement ce logement.
