Prima week gehad in Evoramonte bij Mariana en Frank. Zij zijn bijzonder gastvrij en ze bieden met plezier goede adviezen en suggesties. We verbleven in een authentiek en simpel maar sympathiek huisje met een grote tuin, veel privacy, een heerlijk zwembad in een rustige plattelandsomgeving, kortom: zeer aangenaam allemaal !

This place is just a wonderful oasis of peace and beauty. The antique house is 200 years old and belongs to the family ever since; the surrounding nature too beautiful to be true, the infinity pool was amazing even if for us in April, after 10 days of rain, unfortunately too cold. We had a wonderful stay and would like to sincerely thank Paul, our host. He was incredibly friendly and helpful, told us a lot about the house and the surroundings, and even showed the children different plants, which they loved. He was always available when we needed something, but never intrusive – just the perfect host. Thank you, Paul, for making our stay so special!

Adoramos a casa e gostamos bastante da localização, que junta o campo a Aldeia de São Miguel de Machede. Nós tiramos estes dias para descansar e ficar neste espaço fantástico, apenas a 15 minutos de Evora. Do ponto de vista arquitectónico, a casa foi inspirada num design muito característico da Região do Alentejo e seguindo a traça tradicional num contexto minimalista a privilegiar os materiais de construção; o teto da habitação em betão à vista é simplesmente maravilhoso. A área exterior com vista para o campo e piscina é excelente e um ótimo sítio para tomar o pequeno almoço e fazer uma refeição ao fim do dia. Existe um mini-supermercado no centro da Aldeia que fica apenas a 5 minutos a pé e em quem encontramos um pouco de tudo, e onde é possível comprar o necessário para o pequeno almoço ou outra refeição. O anfitrião foi sempre muito atencioso e também nos deu algumas opções próximas para comer como a Azaruja, Freixo ou mesmo um Takeaway na Aldeia de São Miguel que poderá ser organ

Se não fosse a existencia de muitas vespas que condicionou a utilização do espaço exterior em muitas das refeições e banhos de piscina seria dos melhores espaços que já estive. Recomendo
