Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Santa Cruz Island

Un lugar muy agradable equipado cerca de un parque para los niños nos agradó mucho la estancia ahí no tuve el gusto de conocer mucho a Ana pero me pareció una excelente anfitriona cosas a considerar el internet ya que en en si no es tan bueno y la TV se paraba x momentos pero es algo manejable ya que a la isla vas a disfrutar de sus lugares

Tres bien situé. Le logement est à côté de pharmacies, boulangerie, supermarchés. La piscine est agréable. La maison est excellemment bien équipée tant pour y vivre que pour sortir avec des affaires de plongée. Chaque chambre est spacieuse et à sa propre salle d'eau. La cuisine a beaucoup de vaisselle afin d'y cuisiner. Barbara est tres agréable et réactive à nos demandes et besoins. Nous recommandons ce logement pour une famille ou entre amis.

Charles and Ximena were great hosts. They went out of their way to make sure we had a great stay. Galapagos Cottages is an excellent location clos e to Tortuga Bay. Also, the coffee, milk be beer in the frigde was perfect.

Great little place for a group to stay. The host was super helpful and quick to reply. Couldn’t ask for more! The only downside is the very low pressure in the shower, but it must the island problem. There is also a lot of noise coming from the street during night so not a good option if you are light sleeper. But! Overall very happy with the stay.

Absolutely perfect! House was beautiful, location was great, host was nice and very responsive!

Location location location! Walkable to all stores, restaurants and the port. Casa Tortuga was better than the pictured as the entrance had a beautiful little garden with flowers and fruit. Tortuga bay is a 30 mts walk from the property but very easy to follow. All Utilities available in the kitchen and great selection of books. My daughter managed to find and finish Congo! The restaurant recommendations in the book was very helpful. It would help if the distance to each restaurant was listed as we were new to the neighborhood. Another recommendation is folks can have an English speaking driver as it would have been good to communicate on the way.. Thank you for promptly responding and answering our questions and for also helping with the taxi service. Highly Recommend this property to all families and couples.

Ana is a wonderful host and we loved the location, a short walk to the beach and had the best wifi we have found on Galapagos. Plenty of room and really great kitchen. Thanks Ana, we will be coming back!

this is a 5 star review summary: I will most definitely book this location again. pos: host is extremely responsive, and offered solid recommendations for travel and services pos: location is close to downtown (15 minute leisurely walk to ferry, less than 10 to darwin research) with plenty of mini markets and restaurants within 10 pos: beds comfortable, plenty of storage spaces, very secure. neighborhood feels very safe pos: pictures are exact, property is well furnished and well decorated. a fantastic place to spend a week or more in the galapagos neg: like most multi story structures in S America, tight winding stairway may be tough for elderly. Not a criticism of this host, but be aware there are no bedrooms on entry level. neg: as with all properties in the city of puerto ayora, expect to hear trucks coming and going at all hours. no late night restaurant or bar noise.

Jessica’s place is the perfect spot to stay while visiting the islands. Only a ~10 min walk from the main streets and crowds. So many restaurants around. The place itself has a beautiful backyard to enjoy. During my stay, everything was great.

A very clean and modern apartment in the center of Puerto Ayora. John is an amazing host who goes out of his way to make sure his guests are well cared for. He arranged private transportation from the airport to the rental which included stops for a quick hike and a tour of the tortoise ranch with lava tunnels on the way. I would highly recommend this rental and will stay here again if I’m back in Galápagos.

Conny’s place was absolutely fantastic! We loved staying there. It was the perfect place to stay in Puerto Ayora, everything is nearby (especially the port which is beyond convenient). The apartment is so comfortable and Conny is so helpful. Do yourself a favor and skip the hotels and stay here!

Excelente departamento súper bien ubicado! Cerca de todo. Nos sentimos cómodos en todo momento, y tenía todo lo que necesitábamos, incluso un espacio exterior con una lavandería para enjuagar la ropa de la playa y tenderla. Priscila me ayudó con todo lo que necesité!

Todo ok es la segunda vez que me hospedo y siempre tiene todo limpio y en orden como estar en casa

I stayed for a month and I loved it. Fantastic value for the money. Very kind and responsive hosts that will make sure that you are well taken care of. It’s a simple accommodation but you have everything you need - kitchen, WiFi, shower. I work online and I do a lot of video meetings. 90% of the time the internet was fine. A few times a bit slow and sometimes it dropped. But they always tried to resolve it quickly. They also washed my clothes for a tiny fee. The kitchen had sometimes tiny ants, so you have to be careful how you handle food. They immediately had products available to have them disappear but I didn’t mind them. They cleaned every week. I loved coming back to the clean place. The garden is sweet with the hammocks. The area is a little walk from the main area but I LOVED that because it meant that it was so calm and peaceful and I got my steps in. Wonderful accommodation, I will return.

Javier (host) was the best part about our stay. His kindness and amazing hospitality made us feel right at home. His breakfasts and freshly made coffee just took the stay here to another level. The place is nice and close to downtown Santa Cruz. Highly recommend! It is also very very safe.

This is a great find! although there were renovations, the host was very accommodating to work around it. Veronica and Javier absolutely made this AirBnB one of the best I've ever stayed in! William was a recommended driver direct from the host and he was also worth his weight in gold! Bikes were provided along with helmets and the Port is within 10 minutes walking. I loved everything about our stay and we will definitely return!

What an open peaceful space! The porch was spectacular and we spent a lot of time sitting out there. It was an easy walk to almost anything. The AlMar restaurant was a three minute walk with delicious food and drinks as well as being right on the water. We loved how open and airy the space was and the air conditioning was much appreciated especially for sleeping! Thank you to Matthew for meeting us and answering all our questions!

Excelente estadía. El lugar tiene todas las comodidades necesarias para un grupo familiar y la ubicacion es cercana a los principales puntos de la isla. Una opción recomendable, sin duda.

Enrique Veronica and Javier were excellent host during our stay for the week. Not only did we have breakfast every morning exactly when we asked there was a variety of different items that were served. Additionally, Veronica helped out immensely with tours and even getting our laundry done. We would highly recommend this location and in future trips we will stay again. Wir haben uns sehr wohl bei Jimmy gefühlt. Alles ist sehr sauber und die Klimaanlage funktioniert einwandfrei. Es ist ein Supermarkt und eine Bäckerei in der Nähe. Zum Hafen braucht man ungefähr 10 Minuten zu Fuß. Wir kommen gerne wieder!
