Great location and lovely apartment. The lift made it very convenient to enter and leave with baggage. The instructions for the key box were a little confusing because the code in the PDF message did not match the code in the photo. When I tried the code in the photo, that worked and I was able to open the box. It would have been helpful to have laundry soap provided. Although there were no instructions provided about care of the plants, I did water the indoor plant because it was very dry.

Excellent stay. The apartment is well located for visiting downtown Angers on foot. Free parking 10-15 min walk. Restaurants and bars nearby. The apartment is large and very bright. The bed is big and comfortable. We found everything we needed. Beautiful discovery for this place and for the city!

I had a great time. The accommodation is in a good location with plenty of restaurants on the pedestrian street. I recommend this spacious and pleasant accommodation!

Angelique’s place is by far the best air BnB place we have stayed in & we have stayed in some great places so I don’t say this lightly. Both Angelique & Christian went above & beyond to make us welcome & comfortable. Their attention & kindness were incredible from ensuring we had provisions on a bank holiday to their very helpful advice. Along with excellent hosting is the apartment itself - stylish (Angelique is clearly an excellent designer) & practical as well as excellently resourced it is incredibly comfortable as well as impeccably clean. It lacks nothing in amenities & the washer/dryer is so helpful. Along with excellent hosting (the best we have ever experienced) & a fantastic apartment with all you would need (including a great outdoor space to eat & generally relax in) is lovely Angers - so much to see & do right on the door step & excellent transport links. If you are thinking of visiting Angers & are looking for accommodation do not hesitate to book Angelique’s place!

A welcoming and peaceful accommodation on a pedestrian street in Saumur, extremely well located where everything is very accessible. The hosts were lovely and very responsive. I highly recommend their restaurant at the foot of the apartment! I had a great stay for a first time in the area 🤍 Would come back for sure!

Very pleasant accommodation, cocooning, very well equipped. A very nice garden that we were able to enjoy despite the bad weather thanks to the summer kitchen. Very quiet accommodation, a very nice design, with a hot tub at the top. Thank you and do it again.

Great hosts. The accommodation was impeccable, comfortable and well-equipped. The hospitality is exceptional.

Julie made us feel truly welcome with her warmth and smiles when she came to meet us when checking in. Chatted with us, wanting to know us better and if we had any special requests. Even popped in a couple of times during stay just to make sure we were comfortable. Very cordial indeed. The apartment is conveniently located, less than 10 mins to the train station. Plenty of restaurants and shops close by too. The apartment is clean and comfortable, well equipped with iron, ironing board, washer-dryer etc and a kitchen that covers the basics. One thing we missed was air-conditioning - but Julie is very much on the ball and has appointed a vendor to get it installed for the comfort of her next visitors! The apartment is very pleasing to the eyes, especially the greenery inside the apartment. All in all, the property was pretty much perfect. We loved it and would recommend it highly to friends and family.

This is 2nd year we have stayed for 1month. It is rural property of character but with modern facilities, unbroken views with a lovely terrace to sit & chill . Everything as described & more . Friendly helpful people in marche & restaurants. That’s including the wonderful dairy heard of cows who silently wander in the fields . Thank you Isabelle a 5* holiday . Hope to go back .

We had a great weekend at Afton and Yohan's place. The house is very nice, very complete with little touches in each room that we really enjoyed. Thanks to Afton for her little touches, hosting us and for her kindness. A real haven of peace, magnificent views and peaceful and very well thought out decor. I spent one month in the apartment, working remotely as a change from Ireland which was still very much in COVID lockdown. I could not have been luckier with the apartment, the beautiful building and garden, the town of Saumur and with Christiane as my landlady. I had a very, very special time there- the apartment and building is timeless, beautiful, safe and tranquil. It’s location is perfect in the old town of Saumur. Christiane was the most wonderful, welcoming person who is spent some quality time with and it was an honour to get to know her. It was a fantastic place to call home when I was there. And I have taken back some really wonderful memories. I miss it already. Thank you Christiane!

Very welcoming and responsive hostess. Catherine is always attentive and always present if needed. Regarding the accommodation, it is not only perfectly in line with the photos but also and above all very well located less than a minute from the tram, 15 minutes' walk from the Cathedral and the Castle, 5 minutes from the train station less than a minute from a convenience store. The value for money is more than appropriate and there is everything you need (utensils, etc.). I highly recommend this property without hesitation. And I sincerely thank Catherine for the stay and wish everyone to enjoy it too.
