This house was absolutely perfect for our week long stay! We enjoyed that the location had a beautiful view and was close to the airport with all of the amenities you could need for a very comfortable visit. Tomas was a wonderful host who was very easy to communicate with as needed. We definitely hope to return in the future! Highly recommend!

We had a lovely stay. The place was quiet and clean. James was responsive and helpful. I definitely recommend anyone looking for a beautiful space close to Jolly Harbour and the town.

Our stay at Brian's place was great! House is very well stocked, very spacious with two opposite bedrooms , each having it's own bathroom, A/C, and huge living room in the middle, with high ceilings. Kitchen has all you need, and what came really handy was fryer too. Great comfort. Location was great for us as it was central to the island,. You do need a car to move around, but it is equal distance to every major beach on the island, no matter what direction. At all times we felt safe, like at home. Finally, Brian is really great host, always checked if we needed anything, and helped us initially when there was an issue with car rental agency, by finding an alternative transport for us. I recommend his place to anyone, and if we are back to Antigua , we will certainly rent his place again!

Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit in dem Haus verbracht. Mit dem Auto, dass wir zur Verfügung bekommen haben muss man nur 5min. nach links oder rechts fahren, um an weiße Strände zu kommen, die zum großen Teil leer waren. Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber und haben alle eine Klimaanlage, sowie Flachbildschirme. In der Küche gab es beeindruckend viele Haushaltsgeräte, sowie 2 Schränke mit Lebensmitteln und Utensilien für den Notfall. Man hat den Eindruck, dass der Besitzer des Hauses nicht an Gäste vermietet, sondern an Freunde. Auf dem Grundstück gibt es einen kleinen Pool, der täglich benutzt wurde. In der Nähe gibt es auch 2 kleine Läden für kleinere Einkäufe. Ulrike ist eine sehr gute Gastgeberin, die mit Rat und Tat zu jeder Zeit ansprechbar war. Einmal gab es Probleme mit der Dusche, innerhalb von 2 Stunden war Ulrike da und konnte das Problem lösen. Insgesamt gesehen haben wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen bestimmt nächstes Jahr wieder!

we had a very pleasant stay at the villa and the hosts are lovely. The house is in a quite location, with an amazing view on the harbour and it is just a few minutes away from the sea, restaurants and supermarkets. it had all the amenities needed and it was very clean and tidy. perfect for a family but also for those without kids. Simonetta was a great host, getting everything ready before our arrival and helping us with suggestions about places and restaurants during our staying. we will definitely come back again!

Admiralty House was the perfect getaway for family time together.The house was spacious and set in gorgeous surroundings.We could watch the waves roll in with beautiful sailboats on the horizon and spectacular sunsets.The beach nextdoor (5 minute easy walk) was great for beachcombing and photos.The house itself is beautiful, charming and well-kept.Our family of 12 (age ranging from 12 to 82) could all gather around the indoor/outdoor dining area for meals and laughs. The pool area was great to lounge around, while the pool itself was wonderful to cool off in.The option of air conditioning at night before falling asleep to the sound of crashing waves was a big plus.The House was a great launching point for seeing the entire island - beautiful beaches nearby (Pigeon and Galleon Beach were fam favorites), and restaurants in Falmouth and English Harbour conveniently accessible by car.Nathan and Clare were superb hosts-very responsive and informative.Looking forward to returning one day!

The view at this villa is so incredible my friends and I were in awe every day. There is so much space and many areas to hangout. It is in a secluded area less than 10 minutes from English Harbour. The drive up the hill to the villa can be intimidating the first time but you’ll get the hang of it quickly. Would gladly stay here again in the future!

Had a great stay. Amazingly conveniently located for both marinas but far enough away for peace and quiet.

I was thinking of giving Merlin House a negative review so that no one else would go there and we could keep it a secret. Instead I’m going to say that this is one of the best AirBnB’s we have stayed at, and absolutely unbeatable for views. Nathan’s hospitality was superb, the location is stunning and peaceful. A better place to relax and enjoy I can’t think of.

We really enjoyed our stay at Carthy's estate. Everything was clean and the pool was lovely. The property was in a peaceful area. Akeem was always responsive. We hired a car, which is essential if staying here because there is very little close by in the way of restaurants and shops so you will need to make sure you have enough provisions at the villa. Would recommend this property for anyone who is looking for a private, peaceful holiday rental situated in 'real' Antigua, rather than a resort.

We had a fantastic stay at “Tony’s Cottage”. Nathan and Clare were great hosts. We enjoyed the huge front deck (covered) for meals at home and great views. A short walk to Pigeon Beach, Falmouth Harbour restaurants and Nelson’s Dockyard. We rented a car (a must for us) and explored Antigua’s amazing beaches every day. Overall, Tonys Cottage is a great option for those that don’t need or want the typical “resort experience” and instead are comfortable being self sufficient!

Bluff House was amazing. We loved it! The location and view are everything. The house was spacious, laid out well, and accommodated 8 ppl fine if you don't mind sharing a bed. The kitchen was well-stocked. The decor is eclectic and appealing. It was generally very breezy (even windy/gusty at times), but some of the rooms were very hot even with a fan. They didn't get the breeze. Those rooms and the kitchen could benefit from AC. The pool is a real + and looks out on the ocean. Pammie was very responsive and gave me a recommendation for a chef. Our meal was delicious. Raheem, the house manager, was responsive and courteous. Definitely rent a car and stock up on provisions before arriving at the house. Everything is about a 30-45 min. drive. We went to Beach Bum at Half Moon Beach twice. Very good. The seaweed is a real problem there and made for no swimming except at the far end. The smell isn't good. It was at Bluff House as well, but the wind kept the smell at bay. Will return!

We fell in love with this beautiful location and comfortable house. Simonetta and Mark were kind, generous and attentive hosts - thank you for making my Birthday one to remember! The space and facilities were perfect. Comfortable beds, spotlessly clean, well equipped kitchen and fabulous outdoor space - the views from the wrap around veranda were exceptional. Galleon bay itself is a lovely area, you can easily get to English Harbour either by car or the water taxi from the beach, safe swimming and the national park trail on your doorstep. Fantastic atmosphere and food at the loose canon beach bar ( although you will hear the parties at the house it was never a problem) - can’t wait to come back.

We had an amazing time at Sara's place. She gave great recommendations and always super responsive. My favorite part was the back patio that looks out into the ocean. Also the breeze and sound from the water is amazing at night. I will definitely be going to this place again!

It's just as described. A clean one bedroom unit. You'll need a car or taxi to get anywhere.

Eine große, luftige Unterkunft mit tollem Ausblick. Wir waren einige Tage zu viert und danach nur zwei Personen, hatten also reichlich Platz. Die Ausstattung ließ für uns keine Wünsche offen. Die Lage ist nicht nur wegen der wunderbaren Aussicht schön, sondern auch weil die Hauptstraße nur wenige Schritte entfernt ist. Hier halten die Busse nach English Harbour und nach St. John. Die Betten sind bequem und alle Fenster sind sorgfältig mit Mückengaze geschützt. Das Wlan war leider etwas langsam (auf Grenada lief es deutlich flotter) und der Standort des Routers ist ungünstig für den Empfang auf der Terrasse. Wie andere schon erwähnt hatten, war das anhaltende Hundegebell in direkter Hausnähe zu früher Stunde manchmal sehr störend.
